Exactly. Spot on imo too. NUFC needs a big character to take control, a big personality to cope with the pressure & connect with the club, aswell as bieng a good one. Keegan was and is the perfect manager for this club, in this current time anyway, we were lucky to have a manager as good as him. New owners, new manager...
-
Please please please let this happen. Get them in, and have Keegan as manager, he hasnt left NUFC, hes left Ashley & his disgraceful team.

Keegan.

And what would be new about that? f*** them, f*** Sky, f*** the players, f*** Asshley and Co it is about time we stood up for ourselves and put ourselves first. I don't need to justify my support for my club by cheering on the players or turning up at the match, buying merchandise, wearing my colors etc. and neither do any of us so whatever we do our support for NUFC can never be in question or deemed unsupportive FFS. A full on boycott would send shockwaves throughout the world of football and would gain worldwide support from rival fans. I feel this is about the state of the game too and not just NUFC, as I'm sick of how both are being ran. If there is a full house as normal and just chants against Ashley I for one will give up hope in us as fans as this is a real opportunity for us to once and for all say enough is enough. Exactly, we have to look at the bigger picture.

I.E. to try and get them going.... because believe it or not the best way to get new songs going is if groups of fans sing them - so what should happen? theres the leazes corner in the ground but any fans together remember - DO NOT sing any new songs, because erm... remind me why again please? So what your saying is fans who sit together who enjoy trying to get the atmosphere up shouldnt discuss new songs that are posted on here?

What the f*** do they go to the match for then? A quiet w*** in the corner, followed by a grotty pie at half time? I'm not slating those who wanted to move for cheaper seats, but christ on a bike...will they join in with at least cheering the team and maybes the odd song? I think it's coz they've just been sat in a quiet area of the ground where not much singing/shouting etc. goes on. Over the years they've just became conditioned that way. I got a shock when I sat with them one game last season. As I was shouting random outbursts I was just getting looked at like I was an idiot. I was glad to be back in my seat next game. You never know, sitting with a louder part of the crowd might give them a new perspective on things. I hope so mate. Last season I was sat around the same types...being looked at as if I was mental. Just glad I can go along now and know that I wont look as much of a mental case, watch some football, get behind the team and have a bit of a sing song. Where abouts where you mate, nearer the milburn or away fans?

Here here, I just dont understand someone rippin the corner when the whole reason it was created was because the whole ground has been dead for for ages now. The noise was really good in spells, good to see Keegan give a wave, it will definetely grow as the season goes on, just a shame others didnt join in sometimes. Good thing was that there wernt many negatives vibes from the stands yesterday, getting on the players back etc.

That's great. Sorted, brilliant tune & simple words, good chance of it catching on/spreading

Where were you sitting? Gallowgate lower tier. They sounded better last season with 1 or 2 blocks of fans than they did with 3 or 4 blocks of fans. & you, along with most others around there, created a really good atmosphere and sang your hearts out, yes? (which the corner so obviously didnt do) SINGING SECTION, no f***ing good if they dont sing much And yes, i sang my heart out for quite a bit of the match, does it matter if i did or not? Gallowgate wasnt created to make a atmosphere, the singing section was. So its a 'bonus' that you sing in the gallowgate end because its not in the singing section? For the record, the singing section did sing, & very loudly a lot of the time, its just people in the rest of the ground didnt join in a lot of the time, which is probably why it it couldnt be heard sometimes. And singing section or not, you are critizing that part of the ground, yet have you not got any words for the amazing gallowgate end and its wall of noise these days? Because, yes I might be mistaken, but I hardly hear a peep from there and I think you should be pissed off that you sit somewhere thats so bloody quiet most the time. Gallowgate sung for most of the match, much better view of the game, can make out whats going on, easy to get into my seat, easy to get out quickly, not hundreds of dirty chavs (singing section will soon attract them). so i would say the gallowgate is a good place to sit actually although the singing section, is hovering over the clouds with 100 flights of stairs to get up, suppose thats a reason why a few hundred at the front sat and didnt sing? Im not really arsed about however many stairs, the views really good imo, and erm yes its easy to find my seat (??), & most fans are not dirty charvs, there was probably as many charvs in the gallowgate end. I thought the gallowgate end died a death many years ago, & thought there was a lot of fuss about the poor negative atmosphere these days, hence the club trying to do something about it, but obviously Im wrong because the gallowgate end sings most the game every matchday, so sorted.

I wouldn't worry too much about playing any of those 4, at least they'll have a bit of hunger to do well. Yup, Keegan says we need experience, but freshness, eagerness & niavity to the situation is exactly what we need. These players havent been involved in all the crap this season and potentially wont be weighed down by the pressure, especially when losing a goal. We go one nil down & the current players think "here we go... " but these players mentioned wont have that mindset. The eagerness to do well & prove a point would let them express themselves. Not to mention they have all showed promise and signs of talent.
-
Edgar, Troisi, LuaLua & Carroll should all be in contention/starting. In fact no, starting.
-
Milner & Butt in the middle, NZogbia & Duff on the wings. Milners best position is potentially in the middle anyway, but you know you'll get a lot of graft & endeavor while a much better attacking threat than Barton would have provided or Emre, Geremi & Smith will.

You are surely taking the f****** piss? surely you are? We played badly last week and got humped, we played 'well' today and got nowt. Makes you wonder who we can beat yet apparently there's still signs out there that we can stay up. Mind boggling whats more mind boggling is fans like you who insist on saying crap like that. This is going to sound soooo bloody unbelievable, but ya kna if we keep playing like we did against Blackburn, then some people might actually say we'll soon enough turn the corner & put some chances away, therefore staying up. Its an absolutely crazy theory aint it
-
The fact is one of them has to start, preferable with Viduka or Shola, & of the two Martins offers more. Owen is a player who thrives in a team that creates loads of chances & where he can afford to miss. We bought him to take chances & the fact is he has missed an awful lot more than he has taken. He has scored half chances & headers; he has missed chances that quite frankly I would have taken in my Saturday afternoon footballing days & chances that I would have been dropped for if I'd missed. I might sound full of s*** but I'd take myself on against Owen with 10 1 on 1's from a 25 yard run in on the keeper. The fact that I can even say that is frightening. I can probably think of 10 chances for Owen this season that I would expect to see buried at Hartlepool. Three today, two against Wigan, one piss easy chance against Man City, one against Arsenal, there's definitely more. He's finished. This "he'll score if we create" myth just doesn't wash anymore, especially not after today. Spot on.
-
Were you singing with a lad who was standing on the stairs next to you? Your spot on with everything you say there like.
-
Keegan needs to be backed to the hilt and given a lot of time.
-
Would these players really do any worse than the ones we continue to select right now? We can say that about half the squad probably. Then play some of them. Even if its just for a spell, when it hits big name players that they really arnt doing the business and its simply not acceptable, it might actually be the kick up the arse they need and make them better when they come back in.
-
Like Ive said, we need to play LuaLua & Troisi, and Edgar would be worth a go. LuaLua & Triosi look positive players, willing to run at players & try and make things happen. They havent been through the crap of this seaon, and wont have it playing on their minds during the game. Edgar would be eager to prove himself and has shown plenty of promose when played. Its unfair to lob in bairns in the vain hope they will somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat. Say we played them v Man Utd and we took a pasting, its only going to have a big negative on their development. Maybe not the Man U game (though substitutions...), but if we hope they'll be good players then uve got to give them experience. In games when experienced players are just passing the ball back, we need players hungry & eager, and with a bit of trickery and pace about them. Duff, Barton, Emre are passing the buck and arnt stepping up to the plate. Bench or stand for them, they cannot be allowed to continuesly get away with rubbish performances.
