right now is the moment of the season - ive been a quiet supporter/reader on this forum for many years and having to endure all the negativity has been hard - right now, im really enjoying it - its great to be a Newcastle supporter again

we need to win the next 2 then not lose at Chelsea then hope Man City have nothing to play for and field a team of youths that takes it down to the last day
-
Make the pitch as big as it gets - might confuse them

Very impressive indeed. not that impressive, we haven't played anyone yet. Good point, when we keep a clean sheet against Everton at Goodison then we know we are doing something right. Until then though its just a fluke. even then, who've we played really ? Stop being such a WUM ! We beat Norwhich - Who just beat Spurs We beat Liverpool - Who beat Arsenal, Chelsea We beat West Brom - Who beat Chelsea We beat Swansea - Who beat Man City We beat Bolton - Who beat Liverpool

Apparently nobody has ability when you see them for cameos. Needs a run in a first team, here or somewhere else....

which of the eight senior players would have made the starting line up? I count Tiote

watching the game in the second half let me know what it must feel like to support stoke. nothing really to get excited about, but hay................we might get a result.

I dont agree with alot of the sentiment on here. Thought up until the last few seconds we did the job. Loads of commitment from the team, would have been a fantastic result to come away with a point and we failed that with seconds to go. We are years from out passing Arsenal. THey are a quality side. We are still many many years from being able to out play them. Our job was to contain and come away with something, anything, and i believe that , where we are as a team, that was the right approach.

brilliant set of results. nice platform to start building something really special

Good news. Great professional. Obviously a little limited in ability, but does sweat for the team, and seems like a good lad

Has he played again for Cardiff? Know they lost this weekend...

interesting that its straight to championship and not first to league 1, and also that its a club challenging for promotion

GREAT news!

I still really REALLY believe he is going to be a very important player for us over the years. Loads to learn still, and very raw, but I think he has all the attributes of a really effective winger...

Perch starting before gosling/abeid proves my point

We are letting these kids rot in the reserves, they need to go out on loan. There needs to be a better solution than reserve football. More loans out is a start. Possibly signing a partnership with a eu club to take on some of our players. Some of these kids seemed promising, and are withering into nothing.

Whats the point of clearing up youth and buying new youth when we dont play our promising youth? eg: We have Abeid who is promising, but will play Raylor/Perch as an MC.
-
Perch is settled in our side, knows our system and the personality of his team mates. For this year at least, he would be on par with Mariappa. again, dont see the issue here.

I think if we got Cisse on the last day, people would have been more happy. I think a CB is important, but dont see getting Mariappa as important. Him and Perch are arguably on par with each other. Why do we need another Perch?
