  1. Yeah but they play us next and will surely fancy their chances. thats what im worried about. i looked at fulhams website and it says "remember last season" with mcbride scoring the winner at SJp trying to sell tickets. i know its just marketing but these teams are going to be up for it
  2. as someone else said, it probably benefits villa as a publicity stunt more than anything, because if he was that bothered about chairty hed have got some rich sponsor and donated the money. the money would definately help the cahirty more than the advertising. having said that, good bloke for doing so.
  3. a lot fine, or that should have been disallowed. not that im bitter or anything come on appears i have been owned today by lampard. can i rephrase my original point to "how many goals has lampard scored for chelsea that havent been tap ins, wrongly allowed, penalties, deflections or the occasional 20 yarder?

  5. noones said that hes letting the childrens hospice be on their shirts for free!
  6. how many goals has lampard scored for chelsea that havent been penalties or deflections?
  7. definately. we lost to reading, derby away (3 mins away from being doubled), wigan away, drew to boro twice, derby at home, sunderland away and take away lucky injury time winners we wouldnt have beaten fulham or brum, therefore our last win would be spurs in october. so yes, id say given the extra fixtures we could have been worse off really. depends who he bought in january.
  8. those who think fulham are as good as gone need to think again. 6 points adrift and theyve been shite all season but look at west ham last season. they do have some good players like bullard and tbh, if they beat everton they could be just 3 points off, in which case survival wouldnt be too much of an ask. also anyone who is going to take victories over fulham, reading, sunderland, birmingham as given also needs to think again, as the chances are they took victories over derby home and away, reading away, sunderland away, wigan away, bolton home and middlesbrough home and away as given. lets not forget we were 3 minutes away from being doubled by derby and only just beat fulham and birmingham. really hits me how many points weve dropped to shite teams really! especially with them being in a relegation battle as well makes it harder. we need to up the notch but i still think well survive.
  9. in fact heres something i posted earlier clearly people read the tabloids too much. were giving keegan time, he is the right man, i will back him even if we get relegated. noones booed keegan, and wont because we are looking like we are at least trying, noone expects us to win the league or anything, we simply will not accept 0% effort from our players and football where we just sit back and let wigan and derby walk all over us. thats what allardyce gave us, keegan is doing a very good job for sure. its all the other fans that are being impatient, telling us how useless he is. the media fail to mention the liverpool fans booing after a draw to wigan, and the chelsea fans booing after CONCEDING A GOAL to us, because it doesnt make stories. but feel free to carry on believing them...
  10. 100% i'd say. Yes but you are missing the point of the thread. I wasn't claiming that our home crowds are better than all of the away ones a SJP. I was saying that our home cround is ALOT better than liverpools on the evidence of the weekend. In short, when someone wins a challenge/throw in at SJP, they get a roar. None of that at Liverpool, just silence throughout. Thats cause we don't really give a s*** about Newcastle, and expect a fairly routine win. When the big clubs visit, or our small neighbours, we'll get up for it. # Haha pathetic. So your fans are the "bestest" yet cant be arsed to sing, against us. Newcastle fans sing everyweek more than that, therefore we are better fans. You should your name to "youcanthearme". You don't actually sing though, you boo loudly and abuse your own players. clearly youve never watched a newcastle game other than livrpool newcastle at SJP where we didnt have a shot on target and deserve to lose 3-0. dont believe the media hype, i dont remember them recording the fact that you booed your team off against barnsley and wigan, and probably others. didnt hear us booing off at anfield- singing til the end which is more than you gloryhunters
  11. Most hypocritical full of s*** tossers in the league. just to point out i didnt actually post that last point, it was my liverpool supporting brother. typical glory hunter attitude!!
  12. that sounds like an excuse arsene wenger would use after losing (assuming there werent any fould that he failed to see)
  13. smith smith smith smith smith smith smith smith smith smith owen ©
  14. portsmouth playing brum on wednesday. that will be an interesting one. they win that and wigan an sunderland both draw and we are 18th.
  15. souness = shite with good players roeder = shite with slightly worse players allardyce= shite with worse players keegan = shite so far with a mixture of souness, roeder and allardyce's shite players, but still playing better than allardyce imo
  16. never was a season ticket holder (live too far away) however, if we go down ill still be going to qpr, leyton orient, charlton, palace, and watford
  17. [flash=200,200]http://we can stay up. we have enough quality to get something out of every game. whether we turn up on the day remains to be seen
  18. wasnt there today, but i could hear our fans outsinging the liverpool fans all the way through, and even after the final whistle. fantastic effort
  19. not kneejerk at all, in fact ive been saying for ages, if we go down, ill be backing keegan as our manager. i dont think a mourinho and wenger combo would do any better than anyone else
  20. of after the game, ill get my opinion in first. keegan is definately the right manager for us, and i will be backing him even if we go down. were playing better football than under allardyce and he cant be blamed for the problems, other than continuosly picking smith. we are attacking better and we WILL stay up. keep the faith and hats off to the guys at anfield, top notch suppotr. all you can hear is our fans even after 2-0.
  21. no way back? cant agree there. well have 6 games left after liverpool and the next 2, and we are 3 points above the releagation zone. the lowest we could phaesibly be if we lost all 3 would be 18th, and thats unlikely as well
  22. the thing is, all the other teams will be desperate to get points from their relegation rivals as well. reading and birmingham will be thinking "newcastle is a must win", and its this point in the season where (some of) the fodder start getting amazing points out of nowhere (west ham staying up by beating man u and arsenal away). those that think well breeze past reading birmingham sunderland and fulham have got a nasty shock coming. every point now is valuable. gutted we lost to blackburn but points at places like spurs and everton could be crucial if we get them
  23. what was the point of signing diatta at this point if were not going to start him?
  24. Rather is read Torres, Gerrard, Babel tbh. well yeah, but unless one of us lot goes round their training ground with a crowbar tomorrow morning, its probably not going to happen. mascheranos a very big player for them though
  25. good news on their injuries. mascherano, finnan, agger and voronoin will not play http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N159091080307-1525.htm
