  1. has kadar signed yet? it says on wikipedia he has but no mention on official website. not that anyone gives a shite seeing as weve just fired a manager
  2. 5-0 to us. nicky butt with all 5. wonder what the bookies are offering on THAT?
  3. i cant actually believe we would sack someone right now unless theres someone there. i trust ashley and mort because as of yet they are yet to fuck up, however the fans are really now an issue. that poll said 50% of fans wanted sa fired, but it seems most want him back now he is fired. why oh why is he gone? i cant honestly think of anyone who would want the job now, and indeed anyone who i belive could do a better job? sam had success at bolton. i genuinely believe that if jose came here he would be shit. in the meantime, itll be one of shearer, jol, redknapp
  4. according to wikipedia hes a defensive mid or right back. on those grounds no. i mean come on, what are we gonna do have smith or butt going forward? geremi was one of these and i dont want another the same.
  5. tbh haemorroids aside, i think we should go for this guy. its good were looking at promising youngsters with enrique, baheng, tozer and maybe this guy bought in. its about the only way we are like arsenal
  6. I don't know, but but if Smith is starting in midfield I won't be watching it. 16th jan i think. said on bbc website
  7. well duff and zog 7 is fair. i do think butt deserves a bit more seeing as he was the only one who would actually have a shot! fair enough they were rubbish, but i wish someone else would shoot as well as nicky "goal machine" butt

    Jon Parkin

I honestly thought he was a fan when I first saw him on the screen. well if they can play fat bastards of fans up front, so can we

looked like the bloke from hot fuzz. that or just some bloke who'd just been signed from the local pub after several rounds of drinks!
  10. haha. cant understand why he'd go to arsenal though, they have no english players! fair enough good training facilities i guess. we were being linked with a permanent move for him a while back mackems.gif
  11. mifsud scores for coventry at blackburn
  12. See what i mean? If we win, it'll be all rosy in the garden, then we'll make excuses when we're s*** against a good side. well no, i think we are overdue a win and this will be it. we cant keep losing- we'll win this one with a fighting display then lose to man united, but make a good fight of it. we'll beat bolton and then draw at arsenal
  13. 1) Premiership Winners Manchester United 2) FA Cup Winners Manchester City, Everton or Aston Villa 3) Carling Cup Winners Chelsea 4) UEFA Champions League Winners Manchester United 5) UEFA Cup Winners Tottenham 6) Euro 2008 Winners Holland 7) Teams Promoted to Premiership from Championship Bristol City, Watford, Crystal Palace 8) Teams Relegated from Premiership to Championship Derby, Sunderland, Reading
  14. we'll have a good performance and win 3-1 and the season picks up from here
  15. well i agree with the refereeing being a bit dodgy. against chelsea, dont tell me if wed scored that goal at the other end they would have given it. dont tell me if at stamford bridge, if it was 0-0 and in the 90th minute that omusuzi challenge on smith was a carvalho challenge on smith it would have been a penalty. i also question if wed fouled a fulham player whether they get the pen. basically, refs give the decisions to the bigger clubs, so we do better than say fulham, derby, boro, reading, probably portsmouth but when it comes to man city, united, chelsea. they go against us.
  16. well yeah but at least they show up in the first place. cant really blame them when it never looks like we are equalising, but on the other hand their paying £40 to see the game, might as well stay in case we get a 93rd minute tap in
  17. well yeah but my point is that how the hell can commentators and pundits have a go at us when teams like liverpool and chelsea boo when they draw at home to wigan or only just beat us??
  18. really bothers me generally. personally, i see no point in the booing today, even though it was another home defeat because we werent as bad as liverpool and portsmouth. booing after those, fair enough but all the other ones there has been no need for booing. what really boils my blood is how other teams with no reason to boo are doing it. i mean ffs, liverpool booing off after a draw with wigan and some calling for a new manager!! after all the success theyve had i find it disgraceful. also, at stamford bridge there were some chelsea fans booing and the like after playing us!! they were singing "you dont know what you're doing" and that kind of thing when theyve gone 73 home games undefeated and only 2 losses in the last 24!!! that proves my point about our fans being the best. if liverpool and chelsea are going to boo after 1 result, its highly commendable that so many actually turn up home and sing their hearts out away after 10 years of rubbish. if any other team had the same thing, they wouldnt get nearly 50000. keep it up lads
  19. well, this should cheer a few up. liverpool 1- 1 wigan bramble from outside the area. we miss you titus!! (2 goals in 2)
  20. well lads, at CoM we scored first and lost 3-1. at SJP lets hope its the other way round!
  21. nope this isnt another thread about how we need to sack big sam or get relegated, just thinking- which teams do you think will get promoted from the championship this season, who would you like to see? 1st: watford 2nd: bristol city playoffs: charlton
  22. Plain and simply YES. Both were fat porkers before which was tolerated by the old regime even though there performances were also s**** but the new fitness coach Ramos brought in is doing wonders. James is clearly directing that comment at us which dosnt really make much sense as theres definatly been an improvement since Ramos took over. I think that's why people are guessing it's directed at us; Sam is very high profile in his use of ProZone/Heart monitors etc., and there hasn't been a noticable improvement yet. Can't believe anyone would get particularly wound up over what he's 'heard' though ah but there is an improvement. lets see- who do we have injured at the moment? ramage and carr iirc? comparing that to 13 at one point last season. also, we are getting late goals and looking more likely to score than concede in the last minute, with the exception of offside bastards at stamford bridge.
  23. against chelsea yesterday they put rozenhal on at left back and that was when we really started attacking. rozenhal wasnt bad so with any luck he'll stay there. i can see the sense of using enrique a bit if hes not quite ready- hes clearly one for the future. i imagine they are using him like evra and vidic were used at MU. weve got an fa cup game with stoke and with any luck we'll put out a good team includig him.
