well are chelsea reallly going to sell the whole allocation if they dont give it to us? and maybe being a bit stupid here, but is 76000 really tht much? i mean michael owen gets more than that in a week!!! seems unreasonable of chelsea, if they are offering it to us its because they cant sell it themselves suerly?

its actually saturday at 3pm. but i take your point about price. i do think we could sell a few hundred more though

im from london and will be ordering 2 child tickets which would be too adut tickets but chelsea hve FORCED me to turn to crime and try and get in on child rate. i would have been going with chelsea supporting (bastards) of mates but that would make me look older!!! in short, i reckon theyd all sell with this length of time before the game. there are plenty of london mags that would go (down here we absolutely HATE chelsea with a passion) and failing that, probably some others would try and get tickets just to see chelsea because you have to be a member. so in short, i reckon most if not all would sell as there is quite a following down here. (more newcastle fans than fulham AND charlton fans where i live!!)

Their defence doesn't attack much? Both Blackburn full backs seemed to be instrumental in a large number of their attacks from what I saw tbh. Or from what Gavin Peacock said on Motd 2. well maybe not as much as fulhams then with konchesky playing a major part in most attacks i thought. tbh they left warnock unmarked for most of the game. it didnt seem like their full backs did much cpnstructive.

14th is too negative. we will get better, how can we not? 14th would be saying we will be worse than last season. not going to heppen. we will finish 11th absolute minimum. lets not forget, we are 11th now with a game in hand and although some easy games, we will still get better. 8th-11th easy

just got back from fulham v blackburn (2-2) looks like benni mccarthy wont play their defence is not great, however if we play long balls (like fulham did 1st half) we will get nowhere as samba is very good at clearing these. hopefully sam will have twigged. their defence doesnt attack that much, and their passing game is very good. bentley will be a huge danger

Exactly where I put us pre-season. Agreed, frankly as this is a transitional season I'd be happy with anything better than last season. id take that, i always predicted 8th but 11th wouldnt be so bad. look at villa last season, and now they look like challenging for uefa cup at the least.

roeder was a a useless tit, thats definately true. however some may argue allardyce is more so because of rubbish formations and the zog/milner fiasco. look at roeders record, then look at big sams. yes, we lost 5-1 to brum but apart from liverpool being light years ahead of brum, on the sky sports website it says torres "should have had at least 4". so, if torres had a good game, we would have lost 7-0. basically, roeder definately should have been fired. but im sure roeder had more wins that big sam if you look at the caretaker spell then last season. barely anything on goal against liverpool today, i believe if we keep playing the same, arsenal will beat us 5-0 at least. i do think sam will get better and lets hope he does.

fair enough with losing streaks and then winning streaks, but in the long term thatll leave us hovering at about 6-7th and if thats the case sam will need to be released as manager once we get to this stage

sometime he will actually work out that these shite tactics do not work. he will play 442 and we will annhilate whoever we are playing. it cant happen too soon imo

from what weve seen from big sam so far, id say yes we did. however, the game i have seen this season: newcastle v spurs we walked all over them!! i think looking at all rooeders games v all of allardyces games, roeder wins by miles but that doesnt mean big sam wont get better. i think its naive to think we will be being beaten by 3 goals every home game this season

given recent performances and pessimism about allardyce, i thought it would be good to have a renewed poll as to where we will finish come the end of the season. personally, i think a lot of newcastle fans were far too unrealistic at the start of the season, most saying we will finish top 6, some saying we will finish top 4. i always said 8th personally, with top 10 being acceptable to me. i do think we need to persist with allardyce until the end of the season- look at villa. they didnt do very well with MON last season- they finished 11th and that was with a very good run at the end, being pretty awful for the middle. i think that could be the same with us. if we finish bottom half this season, we might do better next season. recent results have been awful, but im guessing we will get better and im sticking by my original prediction of 8th for this season. i also think big sam will last the season. tactics have been awful but lets judge the table at the end of the season. good luck sam!
