still think we should go for the flair players- emre types (ecxept better) butts a good reliable player, but no more than what should be a squad player in this new era IMO. good for him for commitiing though, hats off to the bloke

you could say that 4th spot and the european places are being gunned for by us, and other teams. who would you all say are the people most likely to get in our way for a european place? i would say spurs and everton like everyonne else, but i also think blackburn are underrated. villa and man city also, and perhaps pompey? what do you think? what will the top half finish like? chelsea, man u, liverpool, spurs, arsenal, newcastle, everton, blackburn, villa, man city is my guess. discuss. also put in a poll just wondering what the general opinion is now the season has started and window almost over
-
do you all reckon they will stay up or go down? i was thinking they would stay up and after 4 games you cant really change your opinion, but i hope they do because i love having them as my joke team and when i look at the scores find it hilarious finding out they have lost 8 nil at home to derby county!

So you live in London but you DON'T hate Tottenham?!? yeah basically. i absolutely despise arsenal and chelsea though. west ham as well to a lesser extent. cant seem to find a problem with spurs myself

Radical eh? but yes indirect free kicks, with the offending player receiving a yellow card. Also had radical thoughts on how to punish teams that have loads of yellow cards, and might make refs think twice about booking players for innocuous challenges. If a player gets a yellow card he has to leave the pitch, say 20 minutes from the end of the match, i.e he is withdrawn after 70 minutes and takes no further part in the match. He cannot be replaced by a sub. Any player getting booked after 70 has to leave the pitch immediately. Would have made the Liverpool v Chelsea game interesting as 9 players were booked in that game! Was hoping for something more radical. How about: no pens, but the team that has been disadavantaged by the foul gets a throw-in directly parallel the 18-yard box. It is to be taken in the normal way, BUT no one is allowed to touch the ball other than the opposing keeper who has to stand on the the opposite side of the pitch from where the throw-in's taken. The goalkeeper gets a head start based on the scores of 3 pitchside judges who've cast their votes on the severity of the original offence. madness!!

why exactly does everyone hate spurs and liverpool as well? surely youd prefer them to win the league than arseanal, man ushited or the russians? im from london, so natrually i hate CHESLEA (AAAAGH!!), arsenal, west ham and then boro and bolton

be fair to him he did play well yesterday. hed be first choice at a lot of clubs i reckon

Leeds to start League One 15 points adrift
ChrisJbarnes replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
agreed. wonder what their attendances will be like next season -
personally id love to see bellamy miss a penalty and get sent off. and bowyer and dyer to have a good old fight, maybe bring parker in as well. well weve won at upton park for the last 2 seasons, 2nil and 4-2, so the trend may go on!
-
just seen on the official website there is an article entitled "smith can be a leader". anyone think we may be in for a bit of a suprise over the captaincy?
-
loaded magazine says west ham were officially voted 6th most hated club in the UK! (see below)blatantly all sheffield fans although i also hate them but not as much as chelsea. strange to think that they will soon have 4 ex newcastle players in parker, dyer, bellamy, and bowyer. loaded's order of hatredness: man u, chelsea, leeds, arsenal, liverpool, west ham, spurs, newcastle, millwall, other. interesting that we are so high up! where are bolton?
-
ours is good, especially since we have luque as well who seems to be re emerging. i think spurs beat us though. cba with the others
-
i agree entirely. its too much to expect a team previously in freefall to get a european finish the next season with a completely new squad, manager and board
-
Inside? Utter nonsense. thats 5 years maximum, but that would be for the absolute worst of crime, and joey has money and as we all know rich people dont really go to prison.
-
i also just heard on BBC News that he said he wants to sign. best of luck for next year for him i say, hes gona need it to turn round some fans views!! :L
-
well actually i do have something else to say- he deserves to do a bit of time if it was as bad as made out. however, id be disappointed cos im looking forward to seeing him play!! cant we send someone like ramage to prison instead, it would be better for the team.
-
money talks, joey walks. thats all i have to say :L
-
Can we please sign at least one sexy player? Nudie blokes warning.

this website just gets more homosexual every time i look!! -
how come this isnt a bigger story? dont think it will happen though, unfortunately
-
yeah shame cos shola will be good this season i reckon
-
i have a feeling west ham will crash and burn next season- big money signings arent good for them imo
-
seriously though, when i last counted we had 6 strikers. smith and gudjohnson are both strikers i thought. all signs point towards smith, however itll blatantly be someone completely random and suprising- like bellamy that would be a suprise or some random foreigner. i wouldnt turn my nose up at cahill or arteta as mentioned, but dream on.
