How did I wind up on the Help board?

Nope, the heaving bag of piss and shit will wring every last cent out of the club without the least regard for the long term effects on the club or its supporters.

I'm beyond the point of believing this heaving bag of piss and shit has the capacity or will to create any kind of remotely productive and stable management structure.

Pardew does seem sober most of the time. I literally have no idea if that's even a good thing anymore.

What a fucking mess. It'd be comforting to think this is all part of a brilliant master plan by Ashley, but I think we all know that's not true. He's a seat of the pants type guy who has been lucky enough for that approach to work in the limited world of retail sporting goods. There's no evidence that he's a brilliant business strategist or tactician. There's no reason to assume that he is rational with respect to the club based on his success with Sports Direct.

This summer's transfer saga: Carr: "I need some money . . . immediately" Kinnear: "Money? This is not a bank!" Carr: "I know, I'm fully aware of my demands." Kinnear: "What is the motive behind this demand?" Carr: "Necessity . . . Necessity for money." Kinnear: "I'm not supplying money for necessities!" Carr: "So, you're not prepared to give money?" Kinnear: "Yes, i'm not." Carr: "Mmmmm... I realize that, but it is because you don't have money or else?" Kinnear: "Bloody!" Carr: "Hello! Hello! Hello! . . . Hahaha . . . . Cunthair."

It's really sad that there's absolutely no one within the club's ownership or management that can even come close to being respectable and trustworthy. A lot of teams have a bad manager or coach but decent ownership or vice versa, but we're just totally devoid of anyone the least bit decent.

That's probably pretty close to the mark. I don't buy the "he's a good businessman, therefore he must act rationally" theory. He's demonstrated that he doesn't work that way. To him, it's his club and he's going to do whatever the fuck he wants with it. I think ask he really cares about its that it spins off some benefit to his greater commercial enterprise. He doesn't seem to care for the club's stand-alonr success.

He clearly doesn't even care about making good footballing decisions.

I think the problem is that he sees the club as just one cog in his machine. He's got no love for it, even as a business. Good team owners tend to put the team first and foremost, even if they originally made their money in other businesses.

Angelos is a saint compared to Ashley.

This club deserves to be owned and run by people that honor it for its true value: the supporters, past, present, and future, who live and breathe for it. Instead, Ashley arrogantly spits in the face of the supporters who have helped make the club what it is. You can't get much more vulgar and pretty.

Raises the age old question: "How far is too far to take a joke on a dementia sufferer?"

Could you imagine this kind of thing happening to an NFL team here? The team would've backpedaled it's ass off by now and left Kinnear swaying in the wind.

This shit is going in the history book too. No matter how much we try to edit Wikipedia, people are always going to be there to change it back.

I guess if I were mega rich I'd do whatever the fuck I'd like, too. But, I'd like to think that even then it wouldn't be totally embarrassing for a huge population that holds something very dear. Total dick move by Ashley.

I just woke up from a nap. It looks like this is really true and not a bad dream. Unless. . .maybe I'm still asleep and my nap was just part of a larger dream.
