  1. He's 34 now! Time in being time shocker, I know. But fucking hell.
  2. There are some interesting parallels and contrasts with us. Both takeovers in weird circumstances, relatively inexperienced owners, promises to change a lot from past ownership, have to hire director of football, fire and replace manager. Then all the obvious huge differences. It’ll be interesting to see how it goes for them.
  3. Whomever gets it, I’ll be wishing them the worst.
  4. I guess if you're the type that would be up for that kind of job, you can't let the fact there's no evidence Boehly has any iota of a fucking clue what he's doing phase you.

  6. Really happy to see they're working on getting connections established in South America.
  7. Interesting tidbit from that article above: " Interestingly, Nickson even travelled to Brazil to watch Santos’ 2-1 loss to Flamengo in July to track Angelo Gabriel, a versatile 17-year-old forward, who Newcastle continue to monitor."
  8. "It is less about sell-on value than 'push-on' value, as they phrase it inside the club."
  9. Interesting piece from Waugh and Caulkin: Inside Newcastle United’s transfer window: The moment they decided to ‘do something big’ Those without a subscription could consider using a ladder of 12 feet or so and see most it.
  10. Imagine leaving your work at night and there’s dudes hanging out taking photos of cars and shit. Creepy as all get out, man.
  11. Nobody really took ando seriously seriously, did they?
  12. It’s sort of like getting your birthday present in advance. You know you’ve already got it and you really like it, but there’s still a little letdown when your birthday comes and you don’t have a present to open.
  13. Need some sort of opening equivalent to closing’s “slams shut”. Thrown open?
  14. I feel like if I were lucky enough to be paid to play football I’d probably go anywhere stupid enough to pay me. You never know people’s particular circumstances, though.
  15. Yes — if you want the maximum effect from these BIG hours.
