  1. In one year in Australia I don't think I saw a single Fosters tap anywhere. Bit late but I've lived here nearly 8 years and haven't seen anyone drink it. It's not available in offys or pubs anywhere I've been. Owned by heineken, it's never been an Australian product, just a great marketing ploy as 'Aussies' are supposed to really know their beers Apparently it was originally an Australian product, but it peaked there in the '70s then plummeted in popularity as its owners focused on international markets. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/archive/business-old/the-world-reaches-for-a-fosters/story-e6frg98x-1226079495049
  2. Unfortunately we all know how this story ends.
  3. That was under the old way of doing things. Rafa has the club buying balls now!
  4. Those little button down collars on the away and third are ridiculous.
  5. Congrats man! Good work. You should play it a bit smart, Rafa is a bit obvious.. but suggest Rafael [emoji14] Rafa Ben Arfa There's nee bun in the oven over here but I've already got "Ben Arthur" planned. I reckon I can get it by her. It's pretty much the only thing that has tempted me into having kids. Those were my grandfather's first and middle names.
  6. If we were the fallback for Rafa... Does anyone actually care if we were or not? Because I certainly don't. Nope. Not at all. I mean, for anyone at his level I don't think managing a club in the Championship would be their first choice. The thing is, the position clearly has enough about it for him to choose to stay here in light of what other choices were available, and that's more than good enough for me.
  7. I feel like we're close to getting back some mojo.
  8. I can't help but think the club hasn't exactly nailed the roll out of this.

  14. Yeah, I like John Turturro too.
  15. I, for one, am perfectly content with the news that three of Newcastle United's development coaches have received the prestigious UEFA Pro Licence.
  16. What I wouldn't give to see him land a haymaker on Charnley.
  17. It's because of movements like this one that Ashley has finally had to shift from the cheapskate policy of hiring has-beens and drunks rather than qualified professionals with a good reputation. The dancing nincompoop Pardew was forced out by none other and ultimately that is why we now have a world class manager in charge. Exactly Some mistake pressure groups as a failure if their ultimate goal isn't met. But the fact is pressure groups can force change, and that's as important. But there's a long way to go before anyone trusts MA. A long way. So AshleyOut.com's purpose is far from over. And while it's not about the group, and the group's survival, they need to be there, as a reminder that we aren't going away quietly. One recent good thing doesn't erase nine years of fuckwitery and the prospect of untold fuckwitery yet to come.
