In Ireland? tbh they actually arnt, they love their team like but the Manure fans are RIDICULOUSLY cocky over here. No one is cocky over here compaired to them. In Ireland they love 'their' team. Did they emigrate from Liverpool, or are they just glory hunting cunts?

Nope. Thats what you want us to think.... I've got my suspicions...

That's bloody brilliant to be honest Well done Toon Army NYC, and well done Chris Mort

Not in the squad. Seriously? f***'s sake. Can't believe i dropped Benjani for Torres. ... f****** superb news. Serves you right for wishing injury on a player. T27 in different opinion shocker!

I find that funny on so many levels! blueyes.gif Care to expand on that? O.k. Firstly, the jibe about "intelligent" scousers is just a lazy, ignorant unfunny attempt at humour by playing on prejudices amuses me (almost as much as when your fans sing "sign on, with a pen in your hand" without any sign of self awareness for the social deprivation on Tyneside). Secondly, the person held up as "intelligent" recently stubbed out a cigar in someones eye - but that's alright because as long as he stops assaulting people then he should be your next captain. You (or many of you) slag off Owen because he dared to say that he wanted to sign for Liverpool instead of you and yet a man that has played a grand total of half an hour is held up as the type of player that you want at your club. As an outsider looking in, it seems that as long as players/staff talk about the "toon army" being thew best in the world, or newcastle being a "huge" club then they are allowed to take the p*** (Shepherd/Hall/Bellamy/Dyer/etc) but when you have someone that doesn't want to play that game (Owen) then he should be ejected from the club asap. That, is why I smile.. How does the 'social deprivation' on Tyneside (which one, north or south?) compare with other parts of the country?

Happiest I've seen Newcastle fans at the match for years. 9 goals in the last three home games.... snorefest

Do you actually support Newcastle? Im not gonna say oh we will hammer them when i truly believe we wont, if we do ill be loving it if we dont ill be like meh i expected this. Spurs will be looking to start their season, we are rivals of theirs now in terms of league positions, and in those terms the games for us against them and vice versa are probably are most important games of the season for both sides. If both teams had similar form then anyone could win but Spurs having such bad form says to me that us being Newcastle that they will come here and win. Im hoping that SJP will play in our favour and we will win but i sadly cant see it. Im just being honest. Spurs will not come to SJP and get three points.

i think you'd be delighted if the club folded as we'd never get beat again I have no problem with NUFC losing games as long as the effort both on and off the pitch is 100% Are you on smack? Proper WUM

Howay Baggio, your predicting a defeat to the scum :-[ ? Not confident at all, Rocker. They seem to have got themselves difficult to beat and the way we've been playing away from home lately I think we could struggle there. I hear you. Just don't like the look of it in text

Was taken to a few I can't remember at an early age, but the first game I remember going to alone (or with my mates) was the 1-1 draw against Leeds at St James in 1998. Leeds scored very late on, and Ketsbaia equalised for us in the dying minutes of the game.

Horray!
