Just an idea, but how about we go to the match and get behind the team as normal? Then we can move on as quickly as possible and maybe still have a decent season. Oh no but i forgot, this is newcastle and some idiots are going to make a big drama out of it, probably just to get on SSN and then the next week go back to normal.... groundbreaking stuff. Let's stop being daft and get behind the fucking team for christs sake, the only thing that will come of protests is more negative press for another week. As soon as the new manager is in, and as long as he is of a good standard (ie not poyet) all this will be forgotten very quickly and we can get on with the bloody season

To be fair mate, you've got berbatov who is a quality player (albeit at a high price) and your promising young striker has gone on loan for a season at a premiership club. Your pretty much a winner in everything in this deal

Iv felt sorry for him in the past sometimes because of the stick he gets off us, but today was just a perfect example of how useless he is. I know it was his first game for a while, but this shouldn't take away your ability to control a ball and actually SPRINT. He could at least make it look like he's trying, but he just doesn't. I don't think iv ever seen him genuinely sprint to try and close a defender down. Goodbye shola, about 3 years too late

I too was in the pub on my own watching it and i felt like throwing my fucking pint at the screen as i didn't want to shout out loud at the screen. The owen comment was a fucking disgrace, basically saying he should get out of here as fast as he can cos of the state the club is in. Yeah we're in such a state aren't we craig having four points from our first 3 games, 2 of which were away against arsenal and man utd. In such a state having no debt due to the owner paying it all off and keegan constantly saying how well meetings have gone. And as for the comments that inferred keegan isn't being backed in the transfer market, how does bidding 16m or whatever for modric and paying a club record fee for a defender in coloccini sound to you? Obviously burley does his research by reading the sun and believing the (probably fake) comments from 'furious newcastle fans', and by watching the inept interviews performed outside st james with idiotic fans. If this is about him not getting a new contract then its a fucking joke. Am I right in saying he signed a new deal sometime last year? If so, then could someone please tell me exactly what he has done over the last year to merit a new contract this season? He's taking the piss tbh. We're in a strong position because he has a few years left on his contract and can therefore push for a high price, let's see how O'Neill likes another club asking for ridiculously high prices for English players. Very disappointed in Milner doing this with only a few days of the window left though. I think he's got some talent and only being 22 could still improve a fair deal. If we don't get 10mill then fuck it, make him stay and he'll eventually come round to the idea of staying, as it seems might happen with Barry.

That spoof is spot on with the way that they do Brent-esque glances to the camera. What annoys me about Gray is how he seems to think he is the absolute king of sky sports now. Can't start a new thread yet so thought i'd write in here. Anyone tried doing the 'missing men' thing on football365.com today? NUFC 3-2 Bolton in 2002. Couple of tricky ones in there, namely the LB and CM with 6 letters (which I didn't get). Ill be impressed if someone gets the CM within a couple of minutes!
