One of my good pals is a Jambo and years ago I went up to see them play the Hibbies at Tynecastle. So I want the Jambo’s to win the league.

So Isak’s 4 x goals this season would only have occurred at NUFC in games where an extra goal would have given us 3 points ? Nah, not having that like. Either go like for like, or not at all. Might as well just say he could have got all 4 against Carrierbag away and made absolutely no difference to our domestic season whatsoever.

Like for like with the games in which Isak scored his goals for Liverpool. Let’s imagine the same goals he scored for them, he would have scored for us. Just to keep it aligned with what he actually achieved this season. So if we add an Isak goal to the NUFC result, in the same 4 x games when Isak scored for LFC, we get the following: - Spurs away we still would have won. - West Ham away we still would have got beat. - Palace home we still would have won. - FUCKING BRADFORD we still would have won. Conclusion: Isak’s goals he actually scored, would have made no difference at all to our season.

Isak’s played 1000 minutes and scored 4 this season. Let’s imagine he’d stayed and that’s all we got out of him.

If you want to get a visual overview of what’s happening on the entire pitch but don’t mind being completely removed from the players on the pitch then L7 is perfect. And vice versa for being pitchside. I’d rather be stood 5 yards from the players kicking the ball about and am happy to forgo the birds eye view of the formations and tactics. Up close and personal is my preference. Otherwise I might as well just be watching on the telly. But each to their own.

If we’d lost yesterday, West Ham had won yesterday and we hadn’t beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge then I’d be properly cacking in my y-fronts right now. Not gonna lie.

Exactly, I’m happy to sacrifice an element of the view because for me, being pitchside up close to the action is my preference. Other people have different preferences.

That was my preferred spot for most of the 22/23 season. In Block A, always stood up. Was absolutely class.

Rewatch the Osula celebrations against Man Utd and you’ll see the front row corner flag lads going absolutely apeshit hugging Big Willie. Who said anything about accommodating away fans needs at our ground ? They can complain all they want. It’s our ground not theirs. I don’t give a shit if they don’t like it. But I do agree with them that being in L7 is shite. The fact we’re allowed to break the PL rules on away ends is something they could quite rightly question. But that’s an issue that’s mainly decided by the PL and the bizzies. And they’re happy with L7 being the away end.

Why do you even care if away fans complain about L7. If they want to complain about it that’s their prerogative. I couldn’t give two shites if they complain, as you rightly say it’s our ground not theirs. Doesn’t mean I can’t agree with them that being in L7 means the match experience is rubbish.

Eh ? There’s nowt daft about it. Some away fans don’t like the view from L7 and how its miles from the pitch so they complain about it. Which is understandable. It’s your argument that’s daft ya dafty.

You might not think the view is bad, but I do. I want to be near the pitch, so I feel close to the action. In L7 I hate being so far removed from the action. And for some people that’s more important than being close to boozers or places to eat etc so they complain about it being a shit view where they feel removed from what’s happening on the pitch. It’s really not that deep. You quite like it, other people don’t like it. They can complain about it if they want to.

I rarely drink peeve when I go to the match these days. Maybe once or twice a season.
