I booked a train from Newcastle for the Friday cos the engineering works on the Sat looked like a ballache Just need to get a match ticket now. Hope the millions of billions of tickets I’ve sorted out for others in the ballot era means I’ll get some good karma

Was in Safe Standing, down near the border with the East Stand seats and it was magnificent The massive amount of noise was enveloping the ground all game and it was absolutely relentless from the off When we scored that disallowed goal it went ballistic. In the aftermath, I remember thinking they must have heard that in Hexham Showed the benefit of geeing everyone up in the days before the match and I also think DJ OneDek changing up the pre-match choons really helped Doff of the cap to everyone, we really did affect the players performance last night. It was electric

That was a proper football atmosphere

People could piss into the sea as they went along the pier walkways, reduce the queues at the bogs

Ireland gets a canny bit of rain like, it's properly saturated over there

I've taken my 13 year old daughter a few times Upside: We were in the GEC and as we walked in she was blown away by the size of the Milburn & Leazes. Literally gobsmacked. Downside: Has to queue for fucking ages for a piss. The Fender gigs were the worst, just hundreds of lasses stood waiting for a handful of toilets

Wish the Twatter links could be blocked on the forum. Or at least Spoilered It’s a cess pit of lies Fair enough if people still feel the need to use it for their own reasons, but would be better if people didn’t post visible links to the lies that non-Twatter users can see. Or post links in the Twitter Lies thread or whatever its called I wouldn’t go down The Top House in N Shields and present what Mad Terry the Pisshead is spouting as facts on here. And he probably talks more sense than most Twatter content

Bet they’re allowed to include the touted ticket profits in their PSR calculations Sold ticket for £70 Resold ticket via Todd’s tout site for £500 Bunce on the Chelsea balance sheet £570 Sign an extra 15 players to add to their bloated squad What’s not to love

The last big home game we had that was “do or die” was Milan in the CL and a woman in front of me sat and scrolled through her phone for the critical last 15 mins looking at the Irish Lottery results and pics of her pals Xmas trees on Facebook That daft cunt has given me PTSD and I don’t want it to happen again tmrw night

Could just make the Arsenal players wear Sean Longstaff masks and it’d be a vile as fuck atmosphere for them from the second they walk out the tunnel Every touch of the ball would be greeted with screams of negativity and violent outbursts of anger

If you’re going into a cup semi final 2nd leg saying “the players need to get the fans going” or anything of that nature then you shouldn’t be going to the fucking match. Watch it at home on the telly instead and you can bitch & moan for the entire game at the top of your voice if that’s what makes your willy tingle. You’ll be happy as a pig in shite and your miserable fucking dial will have no impact on other fans or what the payers feel on the pitch. Do the right thing and let someone who wants to get behind the side have the ticket. Everyone’s a winner.

If they gave me the CEO job I'd immediately introduce massive swathes of safe standing and designate those areas to be singing sections It's relatively low cost, would have a massive positive impact on atmosphere and would be a PR win with most (but admittedly not all) fans I'd say to ST holders who don't want to stand that they can have their pick of where to move in the stadium (not the posh seats obvz) and allow groups of sitters to move together if they want If they complained about it I'd chain them up outside the changing rooms at Dorothy Perkins between 2.30-5pm on a Saturday so they could have a long hard think about their life choices and why moving seats is better than having their ST's revoked by yours truly

I'm not looking to argue, just to understand your view. Why's it a "proper football ground" ? What I see is a hodge podge of a few different eras and none of it sits well together. The newest bits are 25 years old and the entire place was left to rot under Ashley The location is iconic, but the buildings in their current form I've never been that arsed about. It's just not a very good stadium design for many reasons. However I did have a lot of love for the mid 90's SJP in terms of how it looked and what that era meant to me.

Millions of billions

I was so utterly convinced by Tyneside Life on Youtube saying he'd spoken to the council and they were moving Leazers Terrace onto the tennis courts that I simply ignored any other stadium speculation from any other sources as it was clearly fake news
-
I'd prefer they built on a virgin site in Leazers Park / Castle Leazers, kept the current stadium fully operational during construction and then got Thompsons of Prudhoe in with bulldozers and a wrecking ball the day after the new stadium opens Fuck playing at a construction site with reduced capacity and only 3 stands open etc etc etc And fuck playing at Murrayfield, which would be a steaming pile of dogshit in terms of logistics Anyhow, the article is by Mr. L Edwards. We ridicule his transfer bantz, but seem to take his stadium news as gospel. So it could all just be utter bollocks for clicks, as usual

Maybe no players we wanted to loan were available for loan, that would be a reason

More likely it’d slam into Wembley stadium when we’re winning the league cup final 2-0 and there’s only 10 seconds left on the ref’s watch
