The thing is about long term attendance is that inevitably, the atmosphere suffers. You constantly have to find new and erotic ways of spicing things up in the stadium. Someone said in another thread about having an ST but not having the same level of enthusiasm for games as in the past. They were just being honest. And I suspect that’s a wider issue. Doesn’t matter if they’re a member or an ST, but people go out of habit or fear of missing out, rather than being excited to be there and using that excitement to fuel the atmosphere. Got no idea how that changes though. Would a spanking new stadium possibly get people excited again ? Short term could it be reconfiguring seating to put like minded people together ?
