Tell me you believe everything you read on the Twatter without telling me you believe everything you read on the Twatter.

If you’re the sort of person that gives credence to everything you read on the Twatter than by mid June your brain will look like Dot Cotton’s growler

Doing all sorts of saucy things with a lass from Mickley under a tree in a field for about 3 hours and then realising when I got home I was covered in a billion midge bites so I necked about 15 anti-histamines that with hindsight could have been a life threatening number of tablets. If I had died, people would assume I couldn’t live with the shame of doing saucy things with a lass from Mickley, they would never have known about the midge bites. That’s not the biggest regret, but it’s higher up than the La Manga one. Having that many midge bites was unbearable for days.

La Manga in July will be absolutely fucking boiling. I know cos I've been there. Tried to play golf and it was like swinging some bamboo sticks about in a sauna. One night an absolutely gorgeous lass came over and sat on my knee at one of the bars in the resort but I didn't have the gumption to stick the lips on her. Up there with some of my biggest regrets of 1994.

I read the new thread title and assumed Ross Wilson had offered Sandro to Fulham and Eddie supported the decision.

I wasn't speculating on why he was leaving, just saying I'd be happy to go for a pint with him if he asked, but his recent brand of football should be completely eradicated and never, ever, ever seen again because it's fucking awful.
-
It's possible to think Pep is a canny lad whilst also thinking his recent brand of football should have a washing machine chained to its leg and be dropped off the side of a boat over the Mariana Trench.

Good riddance. 442, launch it to the big lad up front, stick it in the mixer, toe punt a half volley into the onion bag. That's football.

An old codger, albeit a beautiful old codger, coming back from a long term injury. Personally, I'd rather give him a massive send off, kiss him with tongues and say thanks for the memories. -
You lot are suddenly changing your tunes and spunking your duds about a cartoon pic of Lamine Camara in the new shirt but I've had the pic of Michelle Collins looking smoking hot in the new shirt as my profile pic for months. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

The one lad I'm acquainted with who never misses a game is self employed, has no kids or missus and watching football is pretty much their life. If NUFC aren't playing they're at random games as a neutral.
-
One thing I've always been curious about, the proper hardcore supporters who get to every game home & away year after year, how on earth do they manage it if they're employed (rather than self employed) and have families. Bit easier if you live in London and follow a London team given how many games are within an hour or so, but our lot don't have that luxury.

We can crack on with signing people if they're not playing at the world cup.

I was in my teens during the 90's lock out and my parents had never been to a football match in their lives, so no chance of a nepo ST for me. My only way to get to a game was scrounging a ticket off anyone I knew with an ST who wasn't going. I was fucked over by the club's approach in what should have been my prime supporting age. Hence why I'm so vociferous about not allowing ST's to lock everyone else out again, especially the yoots. And it's magnified further given ST's are currently 99% from the Ashley era, which is now half a decade ago.
-
If they went down Tsnuami's route I'd happily sit with Hoppy and point this out to him. Imagine saying to an 18 year old: You were too young to have your own season ticket in 2021 unless you're a nepo match goer, you've not been able to buy a season ticket since then, you've never been able to go to an away game and you're now not able to go to home games for the next couple of seasons because the pre-2021 season ticket holders have monopolised all the reduced capacity tickets. Might as well just buy them an Man City shirt and let them crack on with filling City's coffers for the rest of their lives instead of NUFC's.
-
If a season ticket holder said they're not willing to sacrifice going to a few games for the benefit of the greater good in a reduced capacity situation then I'd take their season ticket off them. Same if a member kicked off because the number of games they could buy tickets for across a season was capped in a reduced capacity situation. What sort of selfish as fuck fan base are we if people aren't willing to work together to achieve a solution that allows everyone a bite of the apple.
-
In a reduced capacity situation: members get 50% and ST's get 50%. ST's don't get to go to every game. A member isn't allowed to buy a ticket for every game. It's a short term sacrifice that all supporters have to make for the greater good. Some might say we'd be united.
-
No offence to any people with ST's on here. But fuck that 1st dibs shite and everything it stands for. We've basically got a huge chasm between Ashley-era ST's and post-Ashley Members and the Ashley's get everything their own way and the post-Ashley's get absolutely fuck all. It's especially unfair for the yoots. They've got no chance. The club need to sort it out and massively narrow that chasm. It's been 5 years.
-
There’s tens of thousands of regular match goers who wouldn’t or couldn’t buy a season ticket in the Ashley era for a variety of reasons. We just not allowed to go to games for a season or two ?

Sames. They symbolise everything that is wrong with modern football.
