Man, watching that video reminded me how awesome the season in the Championship actually was. Some great entertaining stuff and it was exactly what the club needed to be honest. Get rid of the dead wood, get some team spirit back in the club, etc. Glad wor Chris was in charge of the club during that period - we are much better for it now.
A pretty reasonable assumption I'd have thought, no?
Not at all. Everyone is assuming he wants all of these jobs. Maybe he has his eyes set on a few jobs and won't go for one until one he wants opens up.
I doubt every manager out there goes for every job that opens up.
Another example of reasons why it might not always be the best option to go to clubs in the CL. You get to play in the CL but the Arsenal fans don't even want him. Why not come to Newcastle and be a folk hero for helping us get into Europe?
I mean the keeper does come off the line each time but not a lot of ref's would have the bottle to call that.
I love watching the video and hearing (or not hearing) how quiet the crowd gets in Portland when someone goes to take a PK. Also, just the crowd in general, awesome awesome stuff out there. So loud, even for 19k.
An interesting five minutes or so though none the less.
(it's on the official MLS youtube channel for anyone who wants to watch it).
Robin Bairner.
Yeah, from goal.com, doesn't say much really
I'd reckon he knows a wee more about Ligue 1 than most people here. Says enough.
Not really doing yourselves any favors with using twitter and goal.com as your sources for posting stuff on the board. Before you know it you'll be posting stuff from nufcblog.
Yep.
Agreed. Still remember his touch on the goal line to lift over the sliding defender. So fuck smooth. He had one touch too where he brought the ball down that was over his head then volleyed it over his shoulder straight into Keane's path. Fucking class.
