The only bad choice he made there was to go to ground instead of staying up and pushing it into the ground. As it was, he pushed it into the ground and it bounced over him, which wouldn't have happened if he were still on his feet.

Was a pretty sick shot by Drogba to be fair. Don't think Gomes really did all that wrong other than going to ground, took an unlucky bounce on him and he couldn't reposition. Thank fuck though, I can't stand Tottenham winning.

Have to agree with the sentiments of using him to cut the wage bill rather than someone who actually provides for the squad like Barton. If he wants to play hardball he can fuck off, if he wants to stick around and work his ass off to try and get Colo and Williamson out of the squad then by all means stay around and take a cut in wages. Won't be missed imho.

MLS holds the contract of every player in the MLS and they will sell anyone at a decent price just to get the notoriety of "ex-MLS player in Prem" For what it's worth I think Donovan could still do a job in the Prem and like others have stated he works really well "in the hole" and also can beat players out wide and deliver a good cross.

Totally agree. First thing Krul could improve on would be the command of the Caps Lock. That was also because he had two donkeys in front of him that aren't used to playing with Krul at the back. Another reason we need Colo and Williamson back.

Thought he had a pretty bad match with the ball at his feet today - the goal aside - he misplaced a lot of passes. His all-around play was great though.
