Sven Botman: could return vs Ipswich (Tindall)

I'm sure with Bunce in place there will be no risks taken. Hopefully he's back as soon as he's able, seeing as he is a big miss for us. Krafu took until the following season to regain total fitness and speed recovery, he is back to his best now, but was "fit" yet not fully up to his peak after returning to 1st team competitive football after his CL injury layoff. Don't know if this is a thing for all CL injury recoveries or if its individual specific. -
Arteta after the 1-0 loss to us and the "controversial" VAR decision. Arteta on LFC defeat to Spurs after VAR error. “They are trying to make the best decisions. We need to understand that mistakes happen.” Beautiful to watch

Says he's back out with the team, so competitive? Maybe we'll see more training photos soon enough to confirm. -
I hope Eddie is the one to win our first trophy with us. It's so good to have a manager that gets us all stopping what we are doing and listening to him. Unlike the schnozz monster! He's professional, dignified and dedicated, willing to learn and has many years ahead of him. Again hopefully & successfully with us.

We just need to give then a game like we can at home. Pressing with measured intensity. Hopefully their open game will play into our hands. Our form is on the up and confidence is good. Forest are due a loss. -
Eddie Howe on Lewis Hall after the full-back was called up to the England senior squad for the first time this week: "I'm delighted for Lewis. He's had a really good start to the season. Very consistent and mature displays. There's still a lot more to come from him. We're seeing him evolve and develop. He's adding layers to his game. Its a great achievement for someone so young, we're delighted for him. We signed a very talented player, there's no doubt about that. He just had a few things to work on, as we all do. The most impressive thing was he committed to that. The work he put in behind the scenes that nobody sees. Credit to him for doing that and he's now reaping the rewards."

Eddie Howe on consistency: "We are looking at improvements this year. Consistency is a big, big word for us. Not the most interesting response, I know, but these are the things that we judge ourselves by. I think, if we can find that ability to win games and put a sequence of results together, the Premier League is so tight, it can really change the feeling." 3 years of Eddie! 🖤🤍 Eddie on his third year anniversary as Newcastle United manager: “It feels good to still be here! I’m happy with the progress but you always want more! We still haven’t got what we wanted - that was a trophy. And that’s what’s driving us.”

This. Expectations were raised hugely with talk of winning the league within 5 years! Once the stadium decision is announced that will give us a clearer idea of intent. The amount of money and work to secure and build on the crumbling foundations is immense in such a short time. If we can get Europe, some savvy transfers using the Mitchell blue print and keep growing, the future is still bright and black and white.

Deserved. Well done lad 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A good sweeper keeper, a pacy ball carrying CB plus a 2nd striker whilst we’re at it.
