I’d be ecstatic with “just” Salisu, Bissouma (if he’s innocent) and Lingard/Alli tbh. Let alone an Lb, another cb and a striker.

Sounds weird but wouldn’t want him as a left-back in a 4, almost prefer Bakker for that role (unless by grace of Allah we sign a very good cdm and then yes please, all day).

He was fine. Gives us a focal point to lump forward to when under pressure and pressed okay. I have no faith in him beating a man when it’s just him vs the opposition defensive line, which is an issue though.
