The fact that he’s upset a known good thing in Howe, means I care. We haven’t seen anything from him so far to suggest he’s worth the PR blunders and disharmony in the camp. All we have to go on is his poor first window and his poor public speaking so I’m judging him on that until he shows us something to get behind.

Like I said, it’s irrational and just a feeling. Monaco fans seem to think he’s a bit of a bullshit merchant as well. He hasn’t had much time to prove his worth,in fairness so I’m being quite harsh, I know.

I’ll put you on to some life-changing mashed potato; use a potato ricer, infuse some cream with rosemary, garlic and thyme and add that to your potatoes with an ungodly amount of butter, then add salt and white pepper. Heavenly stuff.

Non-negotiables for an English Christmas dinner are: Turkey with stuffing (sage and onion preferably), gravy, cranberry sauce, roasties, Brussels sprouts and at least 1 other type of roast vegetable (carrots, parsnips etc.) Once you have that core, you can add whatever sides and additional meats and it’s still a Christmas dinner imo.

Brazilians fans can be pretty weird/ out of touch from my experience. Argued many times with a good mate of mine from Brazil who’s adamant that Newcastle would get relegated in the Brazilian league; I’ve said -and I stick by this- that’s it’s far more likely we’d do an Arsenal-style invincible season than get relegated.
