  1. We look dangerous enough. Brighton are just defending well and quite deep.
  2. We look at it today. Let’s give them a hiding, come on!
  3. That’s typical Murphy there, couple good touches then over runs it…
  4. Reads like it. Or is it just literally the same one and I’m being thick ?
  5. Wouldn’t bother reading that if you’ve read the other Knutsen article. It’s just another statsbomb advertorial with the same quotes.

    England

Often plays with a lot of 10’s so should suit the players we have.
  7. Could see us going for Evan Ferguson for big money if -god forbid- we lost Isak. Seems like Howe’s been looking for a target-man style striker for a while. Massive downgrade obviously, but who wouldn’t be?

Do we know why he’s fallen out with his bosses in the past? If the issues have been transfer-related or control on the training ground then it’s all good. Tbf any successful manager worth his salt would clash with Boehly and co.
  9. Interesting article but it’s basically “statsbomb developer claims using statsbomb to identify talent is proper good!”.

England have an amazing depth of talent right now and Tuchel’s better than most international managers out there. No reason why we can’t lift trophies in that kind of set-up. But we won’t.
  11. Probably doesn’t need to be said, like. But Christ, what a mess.
  12. On a different day and with a recognized striker we win that. Take the positives and move forward.
  13. Respectfully, it doesn’t really highlight anything. We practically put out our reserve side, man (besides a few first teamers here and there). That kind of cobbled-together second-string team is never going to have the kind of cohesion you’re looking for. We won while resting some key players. Take the positives and move on.
  14. The reaction to this game is a bit over the top. It was an xi that haven’t played together this season and we controlled the game against a team that took no risks at all and parked the bus well. Not an enthralling game by any means but at no point did I think we were in any danger of not going through.
  15. Is there a particular reason why, beyond it being a bit of a flat game so far? Worst reaction to a goal I’ve ever seen at St. James’ Easy to moan sitting at home, I know but it’s oddly lifeless.
