  1. We’re being naive if we’re thinking Isak’s absence today has nothing to do with the transfer interest in him.
  2. Treated to Coldplay, Donald Trump and an emphatic Chelsea title win. An evening carefully orchestrated by the Antichrist himself.
  3. Letting us suffer through Coldplay now. Evil knows no bounds.
  4. Just when PSG started getting likeable and Chelsea at their worst being scumbags of course this happens.
  5. Would be sad to see a local lad leave. But if it makes room for more of an attacking midfielder I'm all for it. Feel like we deseperately need a creative 10. There were so many occasions last season when we needed a goal and had pretty much nothing creative on the bench. Longstaff leaving would also mean Miley would have to step up - which I'm also all for. He really needs games and I really doubt sending him out on loan is helpful for him.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Playing Amad at rwb is an enormous waste of talent. He’s been one of really few positives for ManU at that right sided forward position which Mbeumo will now occupy.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

They are probably stretching themselves big time in signing Mbeumo for 60m which means they probably have to sell. I bet Amad Diallo isn’t all too happy with this turn of events. I’d take him in a heartbeat and he’d fit our playing style well.
  8. I don't care if he's catatonic and needs to be wheeled out Weekend at Bernie's style. Alexander Isak is playing this game.
  9. Would have taken that before the match. Hate that non entity of a club. Got a lot wrong today and Tonali and Bruno were awful. Once Wilson was on Isak had a lot more freedom which helped.
  10. Howe getting it tactically wrong. Sitting back and not pressing isn’t working. Tino dropping into midfield isn’t working. Isak is isolated and Brighton are responding very well to our wing play. Get Gordon on to press their right back who’s on a yellow. Stop this inverted full back nonsense and get Isak on the ball more. We can win this come oooon.
  11. There was a moment in last night’s match where Trippier won the ball and absolutely bombed down the right flank while frantically hand signalling Murphy instructions on where to place his run. He then played a near perfect ball in to Murphy’s run who almost set up Isak. Leadership and quality on the ball. I loved that. We can always do with him for another season and I hope he retires after that and will continue with us in some capacity.
  12. I genuinely don't think their recruitment has been as bad as it's made out. Player recruitment isn't their main worry - it's player development. I genuinely believe there is a good player in Höjlund, Zirkzee, Yoro, Ugarte et al and I would be very confident of for example Eddie Howe taking them to the next level and having them playing to the maximum of their abilities. The likes of Slot, Guardiola and probably Arteta and Thomas Frank could probably do it too. Something in the ManU setup stalls the development of pretty much every player yet they always go for the same remedy of fixing the problem with cash on the transfer market. And we repeatedly see players leaving the club and having a decent go at it elsewhere. McTominay scored two last night and is a key member fighting for the Scudetto. And apparently they have no use for him? They plainly refuse to acknowledge their problems but long may it continue and I hope they enjoy being 13th in the league. What irkes me massively though is listening to media 'experts' saying ManU need and pretty much deserve wholesale changes to their squad. That everyone in their squad "isn't good enough". How is it that the likes of us or Villa or Forest have to make Jacob Murphy, Chris Wood or John McGinn look class but Man are allowed to throw their 70m toys out of the pram and should just buy new ones? Why doesn't anyone call this crap out?
  13. He’s ridiculously good.
  14. Made the difference. One of the best signings in the club’s history.
  15. We were SO much better. Against the best side in the country. It’s all down to him. Forever etched in to the club’s collective memory.
  16. Genuinely didn’t think it would happen in my lifetime. Can’t believe my son had to wait 6 weeks while everyone else waited 70 years. Surreal. Have to give a shout out to the Icelandic supporters club who packed a full house and made a proper day of it. We’re a proper fucking club. All of us. So proud.
  17. Botman and Joelinton are miles off it.
  18. Absolutely love listening to Man Utd fans whinging about how they just need to get rid of everyone and sign a whole new team. As if they haven’t spent hundreds of millions the last few years, entitled pricks.
  19. Man Utd actually have a pretty exciting spine for a new manager to build on with Onana, Yoro, de Ligt, Ugarte, Mainoo, Höjlund and Zirkzee. Now Amorim has to develop them and unlock their full potential. In the post-Fergie era ManUtd have been far too concerned with player recruitment only to forget player development which is equally as important and they main reason City and Liverpool have left them in the dust. City and Liverpool can recruit good players and develop them into elite players. Man utd can’t. If they’re ever going to catch up they have to change that. I don’t think they will though. They will probably go on throwing money on their problems and their fanbase demanding an “open heart surgery” every two years. Which makes me so grateful having a manager like Howe. A manager that can actually work with and improve upon what he already has.
