    Anthony Elanga

70 million pounds, 15 matches, two goals… ”cunt”
  2. It doesn’t look like fatigue to me. He’s still absolutely hounding players down to win the ball back but he’s routinely caught in two minds in possession. You never know what could be on a player’s mind regarding their private lives. He’ll bounce back.

I’m pretty sure Sesko would have done well here. Almost every player that signs for Man U these days wilts. Their fans and ex-managers love to harp about how close they were to signing the likes of Haaland and Bellingham while we all know they’d be on loan at Oldham at present if they did.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

The profile I’d be looking for this window is a left footed midfielder/winger who can take people on, create chances and work in tight situations. Could also do with a defender on loan. Hope we can go all in for a GK in the summer.
  5. Also seemed like Walker stole half a mile for their goal. Maybe it’s time the linesmen are given a bottle of shaving foam too as throw ins are becoming more consequential.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Can’t wait for another transfer window dedicated to bookkeeping discussiom and PSR regulation deciphering.
  7. Three goals yet not a single registered assist. Our attacking play is very haphazard.
  8. It’s not glaringly bad but something’s really off with our passing this season.
  9. Wissa’s all round play is really, seriously good.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

A midfielder with technical ability whose not essentially a workhorse. Please and thank you.
  11. Just bereft of ideas. The application is all there but we’ve no idea how to open sides up anymore. We absolutely need a fresh tactical approach. The obvious one is trying Wolte and Wissa together but I’ll take anything at this rate.
  12. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be Miley at right back. Big game for Ramsey to prove himself a bit.
  13. I’ll be disappointed if we don’t see something different tactically.
  14. Feel sorry for him. The Isak saga this summer was a shambles for everyone involved. Placing bets on Elanga and Ramsay which have massively backfired. Losing Wissa to injury half the season. Conceding comedy or wondergoals late in games. He’s had rotten luck and we’ll probably see it better with the passing of time. Another bet he placed has really been the story of the season so far. It’s all been about load management to prevent injuries which obviouslt massively affected our last CL season. The plan has succeded in terms of avoiding injuries but the results are obviously not there. So often we sit back and soak up pressure instead of our signature ultra intense pressing. And I get that. The approach isn’t necessarily wrong. It’s the fact we can’t counter attack which is his biggest fault of the season. Surely having Wissa for that would have helped. There’s scarcely a striker on this planet less suited to it than Woltemade. Pair that with the ridiculously expenseive gamble on Elanga and Ramsay and it all looks foundationally bad. I’ll support him in clawing his way back. We can be sure he’ll give everything in that fight. But at this moment it feels like the tide has turned.

    Nick Woltemade

He’s surprisingly bad in the air and doesn’t really have that natural striker’s instinct in the box. I’m still very excited by the idea of him playing off Wissa but it’s becoming obvious that PL defenders have easily figured out a way to nullify him.
  16. Just fucking cross it to the world’s tallest man in the box.
