Playing Everton at the worst time like

Great minds think alike

Tottenham to go down 25/1

I wasn't being exact like. Just saying folk don't trawl through comments about players from years ago that's all.
-
Agreed on the first sentence. Actually felt our front 3 were terrible rather than isolated and tactically we didn't supply them with enough too which further compounded the issue. We looked very stretched today and un-composed.

Appreciate your concern but also think like...we have had numerous clean sheets recently. Each opposition poses a different threat and certain teams are better suited against certain opposition. That's why top teams need more than one plan of action.
-
Just have to accept we were bettered by our opposition today and move on.

Eddie Howe will stick to his plan and fine tune it to perfect it over time, I think. He has recently said as much as has proven as much and long term, it appears to work. However, today it seemed clear to me first half that what we had set out wasn't working and moving to a 3-5-2 (in possession)/ 5-3-2 (out of possession) was the way to go. He seemingly won't ever do that, it's too much too quick and too rash. I'd like to think we devise a plan B, but seemingly at present we just have a very strong plan A and the intention is making it flawless.

Wouldn't say he got it wrong but was tactically out done first half and second half didn't do enough to mitigate it. Hopefully he learns from it and has a secondary option...

Better team won on the day. Simple as that. Iraola had our number tactically. His players executed it perfectly. Referee allowed them to bully us. We allowed them to bully us. All but 2 or 3 did anywhere enough to compete. Onto the next game

I don't think most folk trail through 25 years of quotes about players like

Jordan- who? What a silly comment for someone to make "They deserve each other". We're the most in form team in the country (?) And potentially on our way to our second CL spot and second cup final in the last 3 years. Reckon a Toon target in the Championship should want to stay there personally... 🤣

It was absolutely referencing Isak. Now behave.

Agreed. Both due to win things.

Class quote this. Have shared in the flags chat.

Better bin that new surfer...

Yes? I am a believer.

For me I'd say more like 8 a half is what it should be. Singing for 90minutes is often ineffective because it just becomes a long drone of noise, a bit like when we played in the CL and away fans just banged a drum all game relentlessly. It's better to have some spontanaity for me. But last night from where I was stood I genuinely didn't see any other part of the ground starting anything, this is what I mean about the Strawberry Corner school chamber. It seems the rest of the ground is dead when in reality it probably isn't. Away fans think the stadium is silent but it's not. I quite like seeing flags, flares, etc. TBH but you just don't get that in an English game. There just didn't seem to be much excitement last night though, even in The Corner. I genuinely think VAR has killed goal celebrations for most, if not all, too.

Flattering result for me but difficult to say a win was undeserved. Bournemouth represents a very large game now. Win there and we have a good chance to really cement ourselves as a top 4 side over the next 2-3 weeks.
