My mates mother mentioned a statue at the Freeman Hospital - I personally think that that's a canny idea as his battles with cancer never stopped him from doing anything - It would be a very motivational thing to have for anyone visiting their. Alternatively I think a Sir Bobby tournament would be great, like someone said involving the clubs he was involved with - with all proceedings going to the SBR Foundation. That way his name lives on and his charity benefit.

As much as some form of protest would satisfy me as a fan I cannot see it changing anything. Wanting rid of one thing is all very well - but it's what you replace it with that's key.

Mike Ashley is meeting the chairman of Pukka Pies - Michael Mince, to try and buy 10% steak in his company. He's planning on making thousands of NUFC's staff redundant in order to make this offer but apparently Mr Mince has lots of Beef with Cashley. Cashley won't get 10% because he is too Chicken.

Was great to see Sir Bob get a standing ovation. I still think the atmosphere could've been better and the whole event could've been better organised. I was expecting a similar event to Shearers Testimonial to be honest - not qutie to the same extent like. I liked how lots of kids got along to the game I just think scarves or a banner or something could've paid better tribute.

Right now I can't find the energy to have my life revolve around NUFC like it's been doing for as long as I can remember. Whenever I read any kind of news about the club it just makes me want to puke. I feel like I'm watching a close relative die of cancer. I'd follow this club to the Unibond League if I had to, but arguably what we're being put through this summer is far worse than even an additional relegation. How am I supposed to support a club with no owner, no manager, and no players who want to be here? If that makes me a bad fan, oh well, whatever. That shouldn't come into it though, it's an emotional attachment to the club itself, not any individual at the club, the players, managers, owners come and go. The club will always be there. Times like this will only make the good times sweeter when they come. It shouldn't, but we're all human and it's hard to love the club when you absolutely despise every single person involved with it in any capacity. Surely there has to be some element of hero worship possible. You don't even know me and you already despise me... ..all I do is support them..

Painful, but much respect to CH, he's a top man who hasn't run away too. He's stuck and got on with the job. Ah cheers mate, that was kind of you. I don't really see it as a job though I just love sticking by my team. I'll still be there next season, I wont run away.

For some bizarre reason Saturday re-installed my belief and faith in being a Newcastle Fan. It wasn't anything to do with winning against a shit side either - but that one away trip will always be a memorable one for that reason.

Darlington was a great trip - thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.
