  1. I think we do have some options from the bench if Hall and Tino can last 30 mins. If Anderson has 90 mins in him he can move to accommodate Hall and likely cover most the midfield and forward positions bar Isak. Tino for Krafth and that side of the pitch may be too attacking but would scare the shit out of spurs.

    Alexander Isak

May explain why he wasn’t on it today. Pretty hard to focus after something like that I’d imagine

    Match Atmosphere

I can guarantee the club has no interest in increasing the number of fans making noise or adding to atmosphere. Sad state of affairs but they actively want a sterile tourist atmosphere and it will continue to be seen anecdotally over the months and years to come, and statistically as soon as a broader shift has had the time or capacity to implement.
  4. Wins at home against Luton, Forest and now Bournemouth and we would be right in it. Hindsight a bitch, but still feels like a missed opportunity. Not won at SJP this year
  5. He’s still there and was being linked with Liverpool a fortnight back

    Callum Wilson

Arsenal have Trossard before getting to Martinelli and Havertz. Wouldn’t agree it was Havertz best position but Arteta has played him there with several others fit so definitely views as more than capable. So they do have some pretty strong options and relative experience against us. Spurs also have Son, Richarlison and still brought in Werner. I would not say we need a clear number 9, but someone who can play across a front three and primarily as a 9 when we have as many injuries to Wilson and Isak as we do isn’t exactly outlandish.
  7. Who defines ‘dangerous’? A football club may be a private company but it’s also a community entity. If you have a police force saying that no crime has been committed but punishments being enforced based on other interpretations of what constitutes ‘hate’ or ‘danger’ you rapidly descend into allowing an individual’s personal takes on controversial matters impacting broader society, which I don’t think is a good place to go. With that said we are already way too far down the path with the politics of those managing social and traditional media outlets defining the views that are promoted within them, this just shows a further permeation through society as a whole opting to ban rather than engage with a voice it disagrees with.

Isn’t Dewsbury-Hall being touted for around that? The best player at the team streets ahead at the top of the league… not sure I’d agree with Romano’s valuation there.
  9. Only small negative is we will now never get to beat him and see his gnashing rage breakdown. Other than that, fuck him, no other manager I’m happier to see back of
  10. This was 22-23, with champions league and Sela I imagine it will jump again for 23-24, then the Adidas deal and more commercials should see us tick up again in 24-25 despite lack of CL footie next season. It’s going to take time to pull ourselves up with revenue streams but going in right direction.

  12. So Liverpool were an average team last season when in a similar position after a similar number of games? If so, then hopefully we can be one of the best in the league next season, as we were for a lot of last season. We are going through a shit time, with a threadbare squad. There’s plenty to criticise but your argument is so basic. League position = quality with no mitigation, nuance or context.
  13. Yes and no. Potentially be playing 9 men, definitely 10 you’d hope, with VAR
  14. Using a 24 hour clock and still putting ‘PM’ or ‘AM’ after, a real pet peeve. There’s no 20:00AM

  16. No, Luton are out the relegation zone as Everton have dropped into it.
  17. 2 points off Luton and safety, annoyingly

    Kieran Trippier

Started going to games when I was 9/10 in very early 90s and was brought up in West Country so was mainly away ends against Swindon, Bristol (Rovers and City) with home games being stood in gallowgate. Was all terraces and wouldn’t swap those memories for anything. 5/6 I’d agree might be a little too young for away days but need to feed the passion if a kid is growing up loving football.
