  1. I'm getting tired of Joey Barton already. I like him, too. I mean, we probably all like him because he's a footballer and tells it like it is. But lets face it, the same reason he posts all that stuff on twitter is the same reason he tried to pick up Gervinho in the box: he can't control himself. He feels aggrieved and rather than deal with the situation directly and letting it go, he takes it out in other areas. If he wasn't a footballer and was, say, just friend whinging on Facebook hiow nmany of us would be reading his post, rolling our eyes and considering hiding his feeds? On the idea that the club did Joey a favor by not sacking him, that's BS, too. The club wanted to sack him. He hadn't done s*** and was going to jail. I'm sure they looked into terminating his contract, discovered that it would have been messy and expensive and instead chose to "stand by him". I wouldn't doubt for a moment though that that fact wasn't brought up to Barton's agent every time an extension was discussed. And, let's be real Joey only gave us one really good year. Smart money would have been to pass on the new contract in part because of his actions against Arsenal. He is a loose cannon and as much as I would have preferred to keep him one never knows when he's going to blow up. As for Ashley, he sounds like a cagey businessman but as far as football goes, he's a numpty. Until he relies on someone with some real football knowledge as opposed to the lackeys he surrounds himself with, he's doomed to make the same mistakes. Derek just wants to keep his job. Pardew just wanted a job. Both are left to dangle from Ashleys belt as he blunders through the footballing world oblivious to the shamockery he's become.
  2. It;s an embarrassment. I would actually feel better if they had not gone for anyone over the last couple of days as opposed to amateurish way the club has conducted itself today.
  3. Idiots. They should have been in on Ruiz last night.
  4. Gave it a 5. With competent leadership it could have been so much better.
  5. Supposedly Gyan has put in a transfer request.
  6. If Situ offered anything as a defender we should have locked him up a week ago. The club is perilously thin on the back line, IMO.
  7. Lack of tactical and training instruction is probably the reason that Bassong has regressed. We need to bring him back if he's considered deadwood.
  8. We pip Fulham for Bryan Ruiz Smudger to Leeds on loan Sunderland buy Ranger
  9. The two signings are contractors. One to dig more bore holes and one to do the tarmac around the pitch.
  10. YAY! Now bring in a nippy striker!
  11. Excellent move for Sunderland. We'll never catch them now.
  12. Ban them until the window SLAMS SHUT!
  13. Resembles Kevin Nolan Get rid.
  14. Holy fucking shit. I can't believe it's actually going to fucking happen. Mike Ashley, Fat fucking bastard, had the foundation in place for a fabulous fucking offseason and he's fucking pissing it away. He brought in 3 players for next to fucking nothing, trims some fucking deadwood (ok we can debate some of that) and instead of building on that fucking success he sticks his finger up his fucking asshole and lets the window drain away while the club faffs about with players who were never going to fucking come and replace Jose fucking Enrique and andy fucking Carroll. Penny wise and pound fucking foolish.
  15. He did show a nice touch on the second goal. I was quite impressed. That goal could be a real confidence builder too.
  16. Daily Mail saying we've had a 5m bid accepted for Santon.
  17. Nailed it. I think that's pretty much spot on tbh. yup and might I add that both player and club (NUFC) lost
