  1. I sincerely hope your taking the piss there. Baros is utter gash no jokes brother! he seems get odd penalties & odd goals these days! he's gash but tricky.... don't want us get red... or penalties! defoe is just 1 dimentional striker... i am sure butt can manage him! That is the most wrong comment I've read during my short time on these boards. Well played. Defoe has scored 8 in 7 games, whereas Baros has looked crap against Championship and lower Premiership opposition and spurned bagfuls of chances. As for penalties I'm 95% certain that Defoe takes them for Pompey anyway.
  2. Not really the point. If it costs them promotion, Watford will lose out on a lot more than the £5m they got for him. The point I was trying to make is they would have offloaded him in January anyway had he got them promoted, as his performances in this league have been nothing short of woeful. If they miss out it's because Bothroyd is currently playing Steve Kabba ahead of Collins John.
  3. Try emailing the lads at .com, they usually know about this sort of thing BG.
  4. King has looked so out of his depth it's untrue for Wigan as well.
  5. I sincerely hope your taking the piss there.
  6. thats what we thought until we played derby This. Add that to last season's home goalless draw and away 2-0 defeat to Charlton, the home 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Utd and the 1-1 away draw with Watford. We can't ever beat the crap teams, part of the reason why we struggle.
  7. His wages will amount to that within 6-8 months I imagine.
  8. Martins angling for a move away? Well played sports editors.
  9. would rather not see more London teams like Charlton and Watford (near enough to London) come up but I suppose its less of a trek than Bristol I'd love Bristol to come up because my auntie has a house there I can use. Free accomodation.
  10. Who said Ramage is better than Taylor like? Oh, so you wouldn't prefer to play the better player. That makes MUCH more sense than how I originally interpreted it. A lot of people preferred that Bowyer, Dyer, Woodgate and Barton (to name a few) never played for the club again irrespective of ability. Maybe you should be clear about why you think Ramage should be in the team instead of Taylor then. I'm all ears.... Because I hate Taylor, and Ramage should be next in line ahead of Diatta or Edgar. Edgar has a lot more talent than Ramage, it's plain to see. Diatta wouldn't have so many caps either if he was a clownshoes. Ramage is your poor-average stop gap clogger, who gives 100% and works hard. So at the minute I'd say Edgar > Diatta > Ramage.
  11. West Brom, Brizzle City and Stoke to go up.
  12. Yeah, Allardyce didn't do any high-intensity training apparently. Of course it's nothing to do with KK's tactics, just the training. [/sweeping generalization]
  13. If that score prediction is correct then I'll eat my own scrotum. DISCLAIMER: Pilko will not actually eat his own scrotum.
  14. Maybe because he's clownshoes?

    Edgar or Taylor?

Edgar looks less like Frankenstein's monster as well. Always a plus.
  16. Looked utter clownshoes against West Brom the other day.

    Edgar or Taylor?

That's my point. 2 starts and about 3 or 4 injury time sub appearances. Not enough to judge him properly, is it? Needs 3 or 4 more starts this season, then to be sent on loan next year, preferably to a Championship team or even lower-half Premiership team.

    Edgar or Taylor?

Edgar. We're 95% safe from the drop, give the lad a run. Taylor has had enough chances this season and disappointed a little bit. I'd also like to see Carroll given a bigger role towards the end of the season.

    Martins & Youtube

Bet he likes KK better than the KKK then.
  20. We keep Defoe quiet = 1/3 points We don't = 0 points
  21. The next time Anal Oliver says "my sources at/near/close to the club tell me/have informed me..." I think I'd like to see his testicles on a skewer.
  22. We've got a great record against Chelsea at home, especially during the latter stages of the season. Everton away is probably the toughest match we have left. I don't think we'll get 100% wins, but unbeaten is a prospect that isn't too far from the realms of possibility.
  23. If you're Mike Ashley it's probably what you tip the paper boy.
