Amazing how a decent run of six or seven games unbeaten can be decimated in just three days.
-
You'd better pray that we don't re-live the FM08 corner tactic then.
-
Aye, positive start again.
-
I'm pleased we brought Shola on, but I'd rather he took someone else off for Shola and then brought on Kadar for Enrique. I'd rather see a natural left back (albeit an inexperienced one) than Zog.
-
Enrique off, Shola on? N'Zogbia playing left back. We're fucked.
-
aye, but doesn't Cattermole have a bit of a reputation (albiet not as much as Joey Barton) for being a bit OTT with the tackling?

Filmed in the Arctic?

I'm actually the opposite - lots of London connections but born and bred geordie. And still proud of it too ! think again. Want to match up the rest of Ray Davies's lyrics with real life too ? Sarcasm. Look it up. Bet you think he's a good manager too.... I've only ever noticed you post after we've lost, when the mongs come out.

Fucks sake.

You don't want to see the fugly bastard in High Definition, let me assure you!

I wouldn't buy that new BMW just yet mate...

We went from: Wigan game missing list: Smith, Gonzalez, Shola, Martins, Barton Liverpool missing list: Smith, Gonzalez, Shola, Martins, Barton, Viduka, Beye, Enrique, Bassong and possibly Owen! They're a bunch of dirty cunts. Having Heskey, Michael Brown and Cattermole in your team kind of speaks for itself.
-
Hopefully Owen is injured, I've heard whisperings that suggest he may be (and also why Edgar replaced him). Carroll and Xisco upfront with Nile Ranger on the bench, then.
-
Christ, he's almost as senile as Motty Motson then if thats the case.
-
how about N'zogbia plays his best game for us this season on the left-wing then gets played LB when he's basically the worst full-back i've ever seen. incredible really He was going to play LW then Enrique got injured in the warm up. Who else would you have played there?

I can't say I've ever seen anything from him to say that he is good enough to be a centre forward at the top level for Newcastle United. Well you must have missed those three examples I've just given you then. Wow, so he roughs a few people up, that doesn't indicate to me that he's worthy of a starting place. I prefer my centre forwards to carry some form of a goal threat. If you read what I've said above where I quoted Role Model, it might explain it better. Just so your aware, I don't think he should be anywhere near the first team when we have all of our strikers fit.
-
He's been good for the reserves too. I don't think reserve and friendly appearances is indicative of too much in terms of being a first team quality player, but yes if he was decent enough today when he played then fair play to him, hopefully he'll keep that up and build on it. I still wouldn't give him a first team spot unless we're forced to. We may well be forced to. Questions over the fitness of Owen, Ameobi, Viduka and Martins for the Liverpool game, leaving him and Xisco. Although I'd assume we'd have one of those four available at very very worst.

And I don't see where this "never did look good enough" crap is coming from either. He looked our best player when Keegan gave him half an hour in the 5-1 loss to Man United. Won a corner, set up the goal from it, caused Rio a few problems. Against Juventus in that friendly he was very good too, not to mention the friendly away at Hull when he also looked very good in the air. He deserves a start against Liverpool in my opinion, unless Oba is fit of course. And firetotheworks he was on the field for 25 minutes if you include stoppages.

Hope Kinnear appeals.
