    Joe Willock

Shite today. Felt like he'd played better when Longstaff came on as he was even worse.
  2. Oh no keep Ole at Man U! He's doing a great job
  3. Really unlucky today. Brentford's first was shocking from a piss poor shit keeper and their third was a huge deflection after two lucky breaks in the buildup. As many shots on target today as you'd see in 3 months worth of Bruce games. Much better and a huge step in the right direction.

    Joelinton

Class today. May well be a footballer.
  5. Shit cunt cost us 2 points. Hope he doesn't play for us ever again.
  6. Fuck me. Soumare towing two caravans there.
  7. I nearly phoned the bank to see how much I could borrow at that price, its actually Wilson to score first and Newcastle to win 2-1 for the avoidance of any doubt Still a canny offer!

    Lee Charnley

Goodbye Smithers. Hope MA tells him to fuck off when he goes for a job with him
  9. What these thick gormless Steve twats don't realise is that when the sports scientists say the players should rest, you can still have them in studying video, talking tactics, building team spirit etc. It doesn't mean you close the fucking building four days out of seven.

    England

Nice of us to bother pressing for the magic 10 for once. Always annoys me seeing Germany put 13 or 14 past these lot whilst we declare on 5 or 6. Feel like Abraham's been badly done here and his ruled out header was never a foul as well as the bizarre one given to rule put the Bellingham goal.
  11. Not really, they get to have a look at him and when he's inevitably unfit and crap they can get rid and sign a proper player in January. If by a miracle he does well they can always extend it.
  12. Gave it a miss today other than a free £5 btts acca which was way off and really glad I did, results looked like a bag of dicks.
  13. Think he's a bigger fan of the Carte D'or.
  14. We need to send Brucie round the Mail to defend Mandy's honour. Bunch of keyboard warriors.

    St James' Park

Sounds a bit too similar to Stewart Donald's Pink Seat Replacing Barbeque to me.
  16. Heard a bit of an update on this today. Apparently the police have dropped all charges against the player concerned, turns out all he was doing was picking Calvert-Lewin up for training.
  17. Be really interesting that. I thought he seemed too much of a joker for management but he's done a superb job at Bromley. Good job to go into as well, they're going well this season and Challinor jumping ship was a real surprise.
  18. That's all well and good, but don't forget that qualifications and managerial experience pale into obscure insignificance if you already know the club.

    Graeme Jones

I'd imagine that Tindall gave Jones a good reference & given that Howe has worked alongside Tindall since the start, he'd back his judgement on him.
  20. Staveley looks like she's been helping the lads with free kick practice
  21. I don't think he'll bomb or relegate them or anything, but I can't see binning Smith for Gerrard as transformative or a huge step up.
  22. Promising to see no Agnew or Clemence in the training pictures from today. Jones and Dawson are still involved by the looks of it.
  23. Aye. Was 1) Bruce, 2) Souness, 3) Pardew, 4) Carver. Bloody abject bunch of names.
  24. Former NUFC manager quotes... guess who? No Googling 1) “We just have to play better – it's as simple as that. No matter what formation and how you set up, you have to have a fundamental thing – and get hold of the ball and pass it to each other when you've got it.” 2) "I've always been a 4-4-2 man but I'm not big on systems or tactics. Systems are for school-teachers in professional football. What I am big on is great players working their socks off. The game happens at such pace that it's all about intuition; if you have that you do not need much more." 3) “All the Premier League teams are trying to get to a level that takes the game forward. Fitter, stronger and faster - the Olympic spirit is what the Premier League is all about. They’re right on the edge now.” 4) “I was brave going with two wingers and two strikers – there are not many head coaches or managers in the Premier League go that way, but I did it because I felt it was important to get the three points."
