Was at another game today and couldn't help but notice how fucking on it the home ball boys/girls were when they were chasing the game. They had a fresh ball to the player who needed it within 2-3 seconds literally every time it went out, and it made me wonder why ours are always so chronically slow and nowhere near as efficient.

I always start FPL badly and this year was probably the worst of the lot. Diaz captain today though and a few clean sheets on top which is a big step in the right direction.

Whether the stuff about the tension between Howe and the board is overblown or not, I really don't like the sight of the two Right Said Fred impersonators sat together in the corporates every week with Bunce next to them like fucking Randall from Recess. That was definitely coming after the performances of late. Left ourselves too much to do second half. Not sure what the answers are in terms of players, formations or style but it needs to get a lot better, quickly.

Feel like that was coming based on the recent run of crap first half performances. Three men in the vicinity of Adama and both centre halves attending to Jimenez and not one of them got even remotely close to either player. Probably our worst half under Howe that, early days with knacker Bruce side excepted. Fuck all desire, set up poorly and absolutely no threat whatsoever. Isak can't be enjoying himself in this side whatsoever, he's been a passenger all season, tap-in aside.

Could try: Tonali Bruno Willock Barnes Gordon Joelinton If Isak doesn't make it. That way you can have the Joe interchange on the left wing & left of midfield, and also have Gordon & Joelinton interchanging as an option.
