    England

that speech, man. I think Laurence Olivier would struggle to make that appear any more stilted.
  2. Belarus, Lithuania, Montenegro, Spain and Russia all to win -1 at 26/1 also.
  3. I placed the exact same three except BTTS + win this afternoon got 206/1.
  4. Copied that and got 102/1 with Paddy Power (sorry), seems a good one.
  5. Gouffran. I've seen Williamson have some canny games (alongside Perch and keeping Suarez quiet for example) and many more horrific ones; but other than a very-modest-at-best goal ratio over his first dozen games I've seen absolutely nothing from Gouffran worthy of a positive comment. He's the definition of cart horse.
  6. Gini Gini he's worth it.

    Lee Charnley

Like shite did baldy nappa write that, it'll be some underpaid intern given the figures and a bullet point list of stuff to mention.

    Papiss Cissé

My feeling is that he'll be infuriatingly dogshit and we'll be all be begging for Perez to play up top after ten minutes of the West Ham game.
  10. I'd love to see Ian Wright get bullied, the precious little gold toothed cunt.
  11. Suppose it makes sense; one-year extension in case he comes back and looks mint next pre-season. Bit like Sammy.
  12. agree with this. I think we may have moved again if we had managed to peddle some of the dross; next summer the likes of Gouffran, Williamson, Elliot, Marveaux etc will be off the books and shite as they are, they'll need replacing.
  13. Sky seem to think Shane Ferguson joined Millwall today and have missed the fact that he's played about four or five games for them already.
  14. I see Andy Burton (aka transfer gimp) has been deployed to West Ham.
  15. Contract extension!? See you next pre-season Haris

    Steve McClaren

Last season is relevant imo. We're trying to scrub out 3-4 years of mis-management, low confidence & poor tactics. West Ham's situation is different to our own. Our confidence and the players' trust in one another has most likely had to be very carefully managed for the opening fixtures. FFS man. People are acting as if Steve McClaren has time travelled into 1945 Birkenau and is now trying to nurture a bunch of malnourished and traumatised victims of war back to health and onto a football field. As if West Ham's players have had it loads better having spent the last five years listening to Fat Sam's Fat Head barking at them through a megaphone. I'd argue that's a hell of a lot better than four years of Pardew and then five months of Jim Carver.
  17. Good luck to him. I think in ten or so years time he'll be remembered a bit more fondly by the supporters.

    Sunderland

He'll get 5 or 6 goals, probably one in the derby anarl.
  19. Everton 1-2 Chelsea Arsenal 2-1 Stoke Crystal Palace 0-3 Man City Norwich 1-2 Bournemouth Watford 1-0 Swansea West Brom 0-2 Southampton Man Utd 1-1 Liverpool Sunderland 1-2 Spurs Leicester 1-0 Aston Villa West Ham 0-2 Newcastle
  20. Alys Rock in the 15.50 at Huntingdon. Priced at 12/1.

I like to think Nolan won't lower himself to that mob. Also I don't want the inevitable derby goal against us that he'd get if he was playing for them to happen.

    Florian Thauvin

Just chant his name to the tune of Fandango's entrance music and be done with it ffs.
  23. Refreshing that we scored four goals and put a lower league team to the sword with relative ease like we should. I feel like under Pardew this game would have been a real struggle and we'd have nicked it 1-0 with an own goal or something. Thauvin looks quality on the highlights reel, involved in every goal is some full debut, even if it is against Northampton!
