As part of a squad I'm happy to have him; his workrate is invaluable in the tougher away games and fixtures against the top 5 or 6 teams. But there's no way he should be playing 90 minutes every single week, it's absolutely ludicrous that he still is.

There'll be a fluctuation; today was closer to shite than excellent but in the end it was just about enough to squeeze home, and on a one-off you've got to be fairly pleased if anything. We played far better in the reverse fixture and got beaten by the same scoreline.

One of those workmanlike wins today, a lot missing, but he got Haidara and Marveaux onto the pitch (and removed the garbage Tiote) at the right time and it impacted the game. He has to get credit for that as much as he gets criticism for the general limpness and lack of cutting edge today. Fair play for sticking with Cisse too, I for one would have removed him far earlier in the game.
