He's a good player, he's just horribly inconsistent and prone to the occasional mare of a game. He had a good spell when he came into the team and he's been good (Wigan off-day aside) pretty much since the Sunderland game too. Hope we keep him as a squad player. Whilst he shouldn't be first choice, if he plays 8-10 league games next season that's perfectly alright.

Actually, a rather poignant one for me. My grandad died on the same day we beat Wolves 1-2 with Ba getting the winner. That very night, at the end of Match of the Day, Gary Lineker said something about John Motson spending 40(?) years at the BBC, and then proceeded to introduce 'a tribute to Motty' which featured clips of his most famous commentary etc. My mam and dad's nickname for my grandad (Tommy) was 'Motty'. I remember me and my dad just sitting in silence watching the video, scarcely believing what we were seeing. Strange times.
