  1. This is mint. Proper enjoying people fighting through a computer screen because some knob accused someone of having no links to the club other than a computer screen. Really makes you think.
  2. Things have turned out fine with the benefit of hindsight. I dread to think what would have happened had Kinnear kept us up.
  3. Had a winner tonight! PSG, Lazio, Salzburg, Steaua and Schalke were 19/1, was just a quid like. All were odds-on apart from Schalke who were a surprising 2/1.

    James Tomkins

Perch? Obertan? Gosling? Campbell/Ireland/Kuqi? Perch - a Calderwood-inspired Hughton buy; not hard to convince Ashley because he was cheap and fits the profile. Obertan - a Pards-inspired buy; not hard to convince Ashley because he was cheap and fits the profile. Gosling - freebie/opportunistic signing; made cos of his lack of cost Campbell - made sense on paper, backfired Ireland - always a nutjob/temporary so no loss Kuqi - our hands were tied/temporary so no loss You can argue anything any which way.

He looked piss poor in the West Ham side that went down, but then again so did basically everyone apart from Ba and Parker.

    Tamas Kadar

If we gave Ryan Donaldson a year's extension (and Nile Ranger 5 and a half years!) then I don't see why we shouldn't give one to Kadar - he's shown waaaay more potential than Donaldson and even arguably Ranger.
  7. Real shame about Fletcher. He's really turned round the popular opinion that he was too shit for Man U and just Fergie's token Scottish boy, and proved that he's actually a bit good. Hope he gets through it and plays again when ready.
  8. His legs in that Spongebob outfit
  9. Mascherano to be sent off 10/1 Busquets first card 10/1 Madrid to score a penalty (forgot odds) got a scorer bet on too but forgotten it

    Alan Pardew

His subs today suggested to me that he may have been on the ole pardy powder last night.
  11. Would rather see Lovenkrands out wide on the back of his performance against Chelsea, and Obertan's complete non-performance in nearly every game this season.
  12. I assume we're hoping Smith will gurn at the Norwich defence and they'll just let Demba walk through and score three more? Good plan, Pards.
  13. Time to get that chequebook out, you fat penny-pinching bastard. Three CBs going into a season, great idea.
  14. Pards channeling the spirit of Hughton here with this insistence on not making any subs.
  15. This is so, so irritating. There's no way we'd have conceded three with Coloccini and Taylor.
  16. Just waiting on Arsenal and Everton for my "9 teams to score" bet to come in.
