  1. Honestly can't understand Pardew's thinking sometimes. As crap as Perch is, he's a utility defender, can play across the whole back four. Pardew mentioned he likes one of those players in the 18 (a while ago he referenced Phil Neville if anyone can remember). Nothing wrong with that but why not leave Lovenkrands out and have Ferguson on the bench in case Taylor gets crocked/raped? No, I agree with you on that.

    St James' Park

I had a dream that I went home to Newcastle and that my house was plastered in Sports Direct lettering, also went to my old high school and that was too.
  4. Injured. 16 stone. Likes to Party and 'Party'. Now he's on the comeback, but Man City have changed managers so often since his debut, no one actually knows who he is. I do like Man City this season though. Watching David Silva and Nasri is fantastic. I saw Johnson in Cheshire 2 months back, and he looked a lot lighter than he has previously. Fair play to him. Be difficult for him to look any heavier, like. He went from Ben Mitchell to Phil Mitchell in the space of about 12 months.
  5. You know how BBC Radio Newc. goes off just before commentary starts if you listen online? Does 5live do the same? Cheers in advance for answering a very amateurish question.
  6. Middling draw. Could have been better/worse. Man United getting Aldershot though, fucking spawny bullshit wankers.
  7. Hoping for 2-0, Best FG. Realistically expecting a low-scoring draw, which would be a poor-ish result but not the end of the world by any means.
  8. No idea. I keep asking it, but it just looks at me with the sock compartment overflowing.
  9. Leon Best FG, 2-0 - 50p @ 32/1 Newcastle/Blackburn draw, WBA/Fulham draw - 50p @ 11/1 And for tonight Brighton/Leeds, 0-0 - £1 @ 15/1
  10. Must be nice for Nile, finally he'll be first choice.
  11. The two La Liga games and one Serie A game tonight: I have £1 on 'no home wins' (e.g. double chance D/A on all three), wins about a tenner.
  12. He's played one game, and we won it. It's similar to De Gea's fuck-ups in his first few matches (which tbf were more blatant); he didn't do too great, but at the end of the day it didn't cost them/us and he's got his debut out of the way. I'm not concerned.
  13. Few failures last night (fucking Spurs and Rochdale cost me on either line) so left it tonight, could do with some weekend tips though.

    Alan Pardew

The season so far, on the pitch anyway, has been one long Pardy. May it continue.
  15. Same here. He's earned the 'cup' shirt with last night's goals; I'd still rather not see him anywhere near, but at least there's a basis for it when he's inevitably picked.
  16. 1-2, we never beat these cunts. We should roll them over; I'm not optimistic that we will.
  17. I think at this stage, we'd be daft to 'drop' Jonas as it were. I think that in games against the lesser sides, particularly at home, we'd be better off utilising Marveaux and Obertan as they'd be more likely to run rings round some of the shittier full-backs in the league. However, Jonas is a really important component away from home, and much like Park for Man U he's incredibly useful in the games against the bigger teams - for his ball retention and ability to relieve pressure from the defence.
  18. Newcastle, Spurs, Man U, Arsenal all to win in 90 @ just over 10/1
