They play Spartak Moscow in the Waffa on Thursday and have not yet guaranteed qualification for the next round, so King might well play in that one. Is it daaaaaaaaan the Lane or in Moscow? The Lane, unfortunately.

Didn't he score a cracker last season (think it was the smogs away) with his right? I'd also like to see them swap wings to see how it works. Haha, yeh he did to be fair, but unlike Jonas he doesnt have a tendency to mover the ball onto his weaker foot. Aye, definitely not as much as Jonas does. I do think it could work though and I'd really like to see it given a go.

What pisses me off even more is how highly he rates Riise. Wake up man FFS!

Keep it shut Kinnear, is it really that f***ing hard?! The Enrique comment is an absolute disgrace and not only is it a kick in the balls to José but I bet it will piss other members in the squad off and also make potential signings think twice about coming to play for a manager who spouts s*** like this to the media.

No place for him on the bench tomorrow then. Good news.

It was 0-0 according to Nile Ranger. I asked him if they won and he just said 'npe', that's all I got out of him.

Under 18's didn't win today. Dunno the score or anything, just know they didn't win.

Had £10 on Reading, Wolves and Leicester. Returned £47.25. Doing really well at the minute, hopefully it will continue.

I think we really should target West Ham and Pompey in the January window, two clubs who apparently need to sell. Plenty of players I'd have here without much hesitation. Kranjcar would be one I'd love to see here, brilliant player. -

To play ahead of Colo or Bassong? Alongside Bassong with Colo in midfield. -
Good, rightly they shouldn't. Butt has done f*** all to warrant an improved contract. done more than guthrie this season imo and with a thin squad maybe it makes sense to try and keep those with a saleable value. Personally don't agree with that but each to their own. I think Guthrie has become an important member of our first team and I'd sooner see him in the starting XI than Butt.

Really dreading the thought of Shola being offered a three or four year contract...

They can get well and truly fucked. -
Agreed. People also forget the flip side to it aswell. If a young lad, Lua Lua in this case, comes in for a first team game in our current situation, what would that do for his confidence? It works both ways. I don't see anything wrong with throwing him in personally. If he makes an error, I bet he'll be the first person willing to make up for it which sometimes cannot be said of some of our senior players.
-
Depends on how Taylor performs I'd say. If he comes in and has a cracking game, he should keep his place. If he has a shitter, I'd imagine Bassong will be reinstated.
-
So we're going to offer Shola one but not Viduka? Fucking hell. Would prefer it if Butt wasn't offered a new deal too.

Keep an eye out on Rich, he's pretty canny like. -
Boro still haven't realised that the chants weren't racist then?
-
Think it's selection problems in the way of we have no pace through central midfield and no genuine right winger. Yep, whereas we have Owen, Martins, Viduka and Xisco all in front of Ranger. Carroll too, although that's Kinnear's opinion, not mine.

In the latest edition of the NUFC magazine, Steve Harper says he wants a game of football.
