Watched the Bosnia Portugal match. Feeling extremley frustrated. We had 3 chances hit the post/cross bar. Can't belive our luck really should have drawn this match. Portugal had the majority of the possesion but we had the best chances. Not the end of the world though we'll do em in Bosnia. Oh and the English ref was surprisingly biased towards Portugal.

I don't understand why you think we will play better if we keep the ball on the ground. Every time we have the ball at the back our midfield is cluless no one wants to move into space to start an attack. We play long ball because we play 'better' when employing the tactic. If we had a better manager who drilled the players properly I've no doubt we could start playing a short passing game but we have Hughton and we have to make do with what we have. I also wouldn;t mind seeing Lovenkrands being given a shot upfront with one either Ranger or Carroll at some point.

Ridiculous. C'mon then.....give me an alternative reason why Harewood might be getting a start. Because we've got 4 rubbish strikers, and he's one of them. He's no worse than the rest. He is the most rubbish stroker we have. However was thought to be of lower premier league quality and therefore preferable to playing to kids. That has now thankfully been disproven. I don't understand why loven hasn;t been given the chance of playing as a striker yet. I think him and Ranger/Caroll would do a good job. Still I'm content with Ranger and Caroll for now no need to rock the boat.

Just got back from the game I saw the Zurab incident. I think he got sent off because he put his hand on the other players throat and pushed him back. I didn't think it was a strait red like but meh we won. Hope Colo's back for the next game though otherwise it's the kids as cb's! We were so shit today I've been on Harewoods case pretty much since he arrived here. He is so lazy it's unbelievable and expects every cross we send in to land squarely on his head without having to move. Really hope he doesn't start again. I thought Kadar was decent today had one really shaky moment and was kind of at fault for their goal as his clearance went to one of their players which eventually led to them scoring. Still think he was decent though. We have to consider how much better we would be with a better manager. The only reason we are scraping these wins is due to the fact we have better players than most of the teams in this division. Our players literally don't know how to threaten the opposition other than to lump the ball up and hope. I've noticed every time we've been counter attacking (2 vs 2 or similar) we have never managed to keep the momentum going and go for the goal. Instead our players always either make a shit pass or wait until support arrives = the opposition getting back into defensive positions = moment and chance on goal lost. Still a win is a win. Went absolutely mental when that last goal went in .

All I've seen are a few youtube vids but then if they can make harewood look good they can do it with anyone. So basically a strange move by SAF. I wonder how much they paid for him.

Ibisevic (striker) Salihovic (Mid) both play for Hoffenheim. Pjanic (mMid) plays for Lyon, he's a bit special I recommend a youtube watch. Also Begovic is the reserve keeper for Portsmouth he got a game a while back I think he did ok. There's also been talk of getting Vuckic onside when he turns 18 apparently he is cool with this. I heard this, that he has Bosnian heritage apparently. I also read though that he wants to play for Slovenia. My dad's friend has talked to Vuckic's dad and apparently he wants to play for Bosnia so I'm not sure what is true really.

Bosnia beat Estonia to clinch second place in their group :smitten: Hopefully we'll get through the next round as well and actually feature in a major competition for the first time in our history.

I really really doubt that will happen they are a decent team now. Really pisses me off we sold Faye at the begging of last season, he's been a huge player for them.
