    Steve McClaren

I'm very underwhelmed - we've had a string of worse managers, so that's a relief, but we could've done so much better. I'll support him though, certainly initially. Give him good players and I think he'll do alright.

    Steve McClaren

Sadly, McClaren would be the best we've had since Keegan's 2nd stint, going back 7 years.
  3. Was just about to go in the shower too

  5. Holy shit, this is huge!
  6. I can just see it like I'm A Celeb: "Patrick: it isn't you. Remi: it isn't you. John: it might be you."

    John Carver

He looks too much like Concrete Lasagne.

    Steve McClaren

I hope it's only a 2 or 3 year deal, mind. And there's no way that Carver is going but if Schteve can bring in a couple of coaches, things get slightly better.

    Steve McClaren

The window licker has inferred we haven't contacted McClaren and stand to speak to Carver again. Oh right, that does seem bad

Is there a reason why we're worried it's Carver again? Has somebody said something?
  11. It won't be Carver because we know McClaren will say yes this time. The question is whether someone better takes the club's eye, which they won't because he's FREEEEEEE BITCHAZ!!!
  12. Well I was really excited for Paddy V but it's looking unlikely now. Dammit. The club raised expectations, for once.
  13. Well he can't be worse than Fernando.
  14. A poll on who the fourth candidate is. I'll go Warburton.
  15. The more I read about how highly regarded he is, the more excited I get. And in terms of respect, the players will go from John Lasagne to a suave, cool as fuck World Cup winner.
  16. That West Ham list is depressing to read. Put that with Stoke wanting Konoplyanka and Palace wanting Cabaye, football is going in a horrible direction.
  17. He's a quality player like, they've just got Ander Herrera, Blind and Carrick. I guess if Rooney is his #1 striker, maybe there is a gap in midfield.
  18. In terms of tradition, West Ham could arguably be in the top 10 over here. There's been a lot of nothing clubs in the Premier League but West Ham aren't one.
  19. Don't know why Man Utd are getting another midfielder but Arsenal should've been in there.

    Sunderland

Burnley always tried to play football the right way imo, sadly the squad of players he had was simply not good enough. Sunderland's isn't good enough either.

    Sunderland

That's the best they can do?
  22. Vieira? Aye, I'm up for that. Think he has good coaching potential. Excited.
  23. The Arsenals and PSGs wouldn't want him anyway, so he may as well stay. We're perfect for his laziness and shit attitude.
  24. He came in via the Webster rule, had a class debut at Old Trafford, tore the league apart with Enrique, helped us to 5th, began to fade, said funny stuff in a video, got ill, was bullied by Pardew, beat cancer, then kept us in the Premier League in one of my favourite ever moments Genuinely one of the nicest footballers you could ever meet. He'll be missed.
