Beating QPR doesn't make us mathematically safe but it means Hull need 4pts and Sunderland need 3. It just flat out won't happen.

I mean this as a compliment - but there were times in the match where we were ok. I swear some of them wanted to win too. We scored a goal, didn't lose and the injuries are starting to clear up. I'm not as convinced as others that we'll beat QPR but today was certainly a start. Anita, Cabella and Coloccini (!!!) were quite good.

Everton had 73% possession, 16-1 on corners, hit the post, denied a blatantly penalty, whilst Sunderland run up and score via 2 ridiculous deflections. Two penalties won it last week too. Every year they do this - who said that luck runs out?
