I dont get why tonight is making people MORE pessimistic. As I said on Saturday, if only one of: a) Swansea get something vs Wigan b) West Brom beat Norwich c) We beat QPR ....happens, we're fine.

Don't worry about it. Looking at the players we have, top 7 was very realistic. We just didn't bank on Pardew completely losing the plot, which might still cost us our Premiership status.

For me, there are some statistics that are helpful and some are just irrelevant coincidences. Their Monday night run is the latter, I'd say. It doesn't make them less likely to win.

The problem is that every result has gone against us for a while, we just can't catch a break. Whilst good defensively, Swansea have only scored in 2 of their last 6 games. Now they've lost Michu, that could get even worse. West Brom did put in the effort against WonderWigan, which I was worried about, and you'd assume Norwich would be much easier to beat. Fingers crossed.

When he came back last time, it was for a 0-0 at Norwich. He's rock solid for us, a pivotal player.

Agree with that line. But, like I said, he's been mostly poor for us this season. He's not our biggest problem but I dont trust him to get us out of this mess. Cabaye with Pardew will never work out.
