It's mad that any respectable club went for Solskjaer, never mind Man Utd. Some managers start low and quickly rise up, some go back and forth between Molde and Cardiff because they're shite.
Wildcard before international week?
The break shouldn't make a difference really. Although I did the spend the week debating whether to replace Son with Barnes or Grealish and obviously went Barnes.
This was an alright Wildcard, until Mourinho lied about Son's injury and now it's turned into a bloodbath. Because of Son, the old team would've marginally outscored the new one
It's mad, like. I thought it was a decent day with Calvert-Lewin scoring and Trossard assisting, yet it's another drop (so far) because of all those Rodriguez and Wilson owners
So difficult to rise in this game.
Had to chase up On the Continent because the Ramble keep fucking around. Can't believe Dotun Adebayo is now the host - love him on World Football Phone-In but he's hardly there for his footballing knowledge.
According to FM, Barca are rammed with wonderkids. Maybe it could be a similar to Chelsea last season, where other circumstances force them to put faith in kids.
What's the worst that can happen - get repeatedly humiliated in the Champions League? Completed it already, mate.
I'm able to justify Riviere (probably far, far down the list of recommendations) and McClaren (a semi-decent club wouldn't ask him) because he had a good eye for players, in general. There'll always be one or two that don't work out, especially when you work under the restrictions of Mike fucking Ashley.
Not sure I can forgive him for his son though.
