  1. Is this the Lee Stewart I've read so much about? http://www.powerleague.co.uk/centre/GAT.html (scroll to the bottom)
  2. Seeing it again......what a goal, man.
  3. "Another miracle with 10 men wasn't possible," said an angry Mourinho, whose side were overwhelmed 5-0 on their previous visit to the Camp Nou this season. "Yes, I think we are eliminated. We will go to Camp Nou with everything and to get a result but I can't see it. We will be without Pepe and (Sergio) Ramos who didn't do anything and neither did I." "I just want to know why? Why did Pepe get sent off? I just want someone to explain. Why did it happen? If I say what I think my career ends today. Sometimes I am a little bit disgusted to live in this world, but this is the world we live in." "If we go there (Nou Camp) and score a goal, they will kill us again. We have no chance. They have to get to the final and that's that." "Congratulations to a fantastic football team," Mourinho added in bizarre post-match press conference. "But congratulations for all they have as well, it must be difficult to get to get all this power. Where does this power come from?" Mourinho highlighted Barca's semi-final victory over his former club Chelsea in 2009, the Inter Milan semi-final from last season and now "the scandal of the Bernabeu," suggesting unfair red cards were issued to teams playing the Catalan side. "This thing happens in each semi-final," he said. "I am here just to ask this question and I hope to get the answer one day. I respect him (Barca coach Pep Guardiola) a great deal as a coach and a person... but I would like to see him win a Champions League without scandals."
  4. Real just bring the worst out of Barca - we all have somebody like that. Tonight wouldn't have happened if there hadn't been 2 other games in the last 10 days.
  5. people are being harsh on the match like....it was poor for a while but got fascinating near the end. pepe's red transformed the game (red card AGAIN ), even if it was a bit harsh. not proud of the way barca surrounded the ref though and pedro was an irritating prick. mourinho's smugness is legendary (can't help but love the guy) and i loved the sarcastic 'well done'. but messi, man.......he's the greatest that ever existed. i don't care what anyone else says.
  6. these teams can't wait to knock the shit out of each other. thats what you get when you have a series of games like this. i like the tension and find the match fascinating, but its frustrating. Real need to get the ball off Barca but they cant, but Barca need to break through the brick wall, which they cant. stalemate.
  7. We should create a Cliche Bingo card. ----------------------------- ZonalMarking say Puyol at LB.
  8. well you can't say he's not earnt a break, it's been aaaages since his last inj......oh. so many memories.
  9. Linked with Liverpool on Sky Sports website. No quotes though. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11678_6900082,00.html

LiterallyJamie Not Jamie Redknapp Just been hurling abuse at Darren Gibson. He left the stadium. That's one in the eye for those who say he's inconsistent
  11. So we've only been in the bottom half after 7 games? And top half for 27? Impressive....
  12. Would anyone go for Phil Jones if Blackburn go down? He's been linked with big clubs in the past, but I guess the English 'price doubler' might be a problem.
  13. Get in! Want Blackburn relegated and Spurs out of CL. EDIT: CL contention....thanks KD
  14. Larsson on a free is a great idea. Thanks to Man City, Real Madrid and Liverpool, everything is so inflated now that it makes freebies look like even more of a bargain! We need bodies, basically.

    Arsene Wenger

Taking emotion and loyalty completely out of it, then yes he has to go. But people will bring up their league posiitions under him, the philosophy etc. and he'll stay another year. I think he's lost his marbles and he's so convinced in his philosophy that he's rigidly sticking to it, to the point of insanity. He's so, so stubborn. I see him leaving next summer when Fabregas leaves and Ferguson retires.
  16. He's went to impressive lengths to show how scummy he is. Don't you appreciate the effort?
  17. Hate Arsenal and Wenger is still one of the biggest idiots in football. He's stubborn to the point of insanity. This Arsenal team should never be written off. Every time a challenge has been thrown down to them, they’ve risen heroically to prove their fantastic ability of completely screwing up. They let a 4-0 lead slip, they lost twice at home to newly promoted teams, spectacularly turned a 2-0 lead at home to Spurs into defeat, conceded a penalty in the 12th minute of stoppage time, drew 0-0 at home to Blackburn and Sunderland, worked their way through 4 goalkeepers and managed to lose a cup final to Birmingham freakin’ City! They’ve got an amazing knack of destroying opportunities. In fact, as hard as it is to believe, at some point they might fail to screw up. I wonder what absurd, wacky way they’ll think of next.....
  18. I'm confused. If two twats are bickering and one is pretty funny with it, he's still a twat isn't he?
  19. We should have a pre-season tournament with Schalke, Atletico Madrid and Marseille and see which team chokes in the most impressive style.
  20. What was his body language like? If he was fiddling, he's off. EDIT: Thanks Cajun.
  21. If West Ham, Wigan and Wolves get relegated, there was basically no point to this season. They were already bottom 3 in July. The point gets even stronger if Arsenal stop finding creative ways to choke every week and actually win the damn thing.
