What an incredible, extraordinary day of football. Wish it could be bottled, really.

If its OK, I quite fancy a game this time. 5th March is fine by me too.

One of the greatest moments in history. Watching it over and over again is exhausting, but worth it

Harper's Elbow (Most Electrifying Move In Football)
Ketsbaia replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
the tiote roar, the pardew fist pump.......THE HARPER ELBOW!!!! one of the best all-round celebrations ever! -
the most entertaining afternoon at work ever! the first half was another chilling flashback to relegation year, but the second half showed a spirit that was never in that other team. and that spirit (and quality) is why we wont get relegated. can't believe we scored 4 goals so soon after AC. an utterly remarkable match, yet im still underselling it.......millions of words in the english language and yet none of them can describe what just happened today. seriously, what the hell just happened? Newcastle fucking United.......you may have heard of us
-
The absolute MUST for the transfer window was to get a striker. Not only did we not get that, we lost C*****l and Xisco.....effectively making us three strikers worse off. Incredible.
-
Not signing until we stay up is very reasonable of him. I've always thought of him as 100% dedicated to the club but lately I've just had a feeling that he wants to leave. You might call it pessimism but I think he's off in the summer. Gutted (again).

Would love a weekend in Germany where I'd go to Dortmund, Bayern and St Pauli home matches. We have a lot to learn from the Germans....the matchday experience sounds amazing.
-
Why would you believe the Sun? Boss Winger is out of contract, so he is definitely gone, but the other four have no reason to leave as Chelsea is short of numbers. Getting rid of them would require finding sellers and spending large money on replacements. Some people do, not me. But its a good idea to go for Bosingwa, although he'd have to take a big drop in wages.
-
Ewerthon >>>>> Aliadiere. But you know which one we'll get don't you?
-
Yeah may as well give Alan Smith a go on the left. PS/ even injured
-
Chelsea getting rid of Drogba, Bosingwa, Mikel, Malouda and Zhirkov this summer (if you believe The Sun). Wouldn't mind Bosingwa here.
-
Forgot about Marveaux. Yes, this would be an impressive signing which also leaves more money to fill the other positions. Lovely jubbly.
-
Ewerthon on a short term deal. He's not that good anymore, but we're desperate and he's 'cost effective'.
-
Aye, fucking shambles to be playing in the "best league in the world" at one of Europe's best all-seater stadiums in a prime, city-centre location every other week. We should be fucking scraping the Unibond Dr Martens Western Conference and looking up to the likes of Sunderland well of course things could be worse....they always can be. doesn't mean that we aren't a laughing stock though. and it doesn't mean we're a well run club either.

good point. whenever he'd finally remove his tongue from DBent's throat, he never said a bad thing about him.
-
finally got round to reading his comments and, in my opinion, what he said was disgraceful. it was totally uncalled for, knowing how sensitive the issue is at the minute. i'm very, very disappointed in him. also, "when we first heard about it" is on about the bid, rather than the deal being done. at that point, there was still plenty of time to influence carroll - who didnt know what to do and looked to his friend for advice. a friend that sold out and betrayed the people that pay his wages. so he's went right down in my estimation (tempted to post a keegan pic). has caulkin said anything about this?
-
Golfmag, I find it remarkable that you were composed enough to not twat the bastards. I'm a calm, polite man but I think I'd lose it in the vicinity of those imbeciles. One day - somehow - Ashley will leave. And so will Llambias. It seems like forever away but one day it will happen.
-
Yep I'm back to taking 17th again. Our defence is good and we have good midfielders but our strikeforce is the worst in the league (in a league that has Blackpool). But: 1. We're good at set pieces 2. Ben Arfa will be back soon 3. Cheick Tiote
-
All of a sudden we're back in trouble again. Tonight was toothless and pathetic but luckily we have Tiote back next and Ireland (whenever that is). That can keep us ticking over until Ben Arfa is back, but basically we'll have to play one up front for the foreseeable future. At least we can scrape the occasional set piece goal. What a joke of a club we are.

Was a great player, but is a cunt, innit?

Should look in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium. Buying directly from South America normally turns out badly.

I'm pretty sure every score in a round of games going your way is naturally going to be pretty damn rare, tbh. four games though! haha
