Eh ? A random Premier League game in which we were 0-4 down against one of the most successful clubs in English football history ? And it had Steve Harper's elbow drop thing Yeah it was a great comeback, I just mean it didn't have much impact beyond those incredible 90 minutes.

The one that comes to mind is the 4-4 but it loses points because it was just a random league game in February. 5-1 v Spurs meant nothing to me because we'd just been relegated but the 3-0 and 1-0 (Ritchie) wins over Man Utd felt great. So did this year's 2-1 over Man City. A lot of the decade was just a blur of Pardew, Carver, protests and Championship nonsense, so I guess my #1 was the 5-1 against the mackems.

Almost lost it on....

Not as adrift as they should be but it's still hilarious.
-
Kante & Bale vs Kane & Suarez Surely you'd put Azpilicueta in his correct position because there's far better LB choices than bloody Zabaleta on the right.
-
It'll always baffle me how, after years of being pathetically tight with cash, THIS was the player Ashley decided to spend big on.

Not worth it

Jorge Jesus came in and dragged Brazilian football into the 21st century by playing a high defensive line - until now, everything was ridiculously deep with huge gaps between the lines. No wonder he's been a huge success.

Ukraine top seeds
-
No idea how Marco Silva is still at Everton - there's always been this weird hype around him. Losing at home to Norwich, their next five are Leicester (a), Liverpool (a), Chelsea (H), Man Utd (a), Arsenal (H).

Cantwell has been in for 7/8 weeks, worst signing ever. No goals, no assists, big price drop. Sub #2 this week, so obviously he scores

Not sure why everyone assumes Rafa to West Ham will happen. He sounds dead excited about this project in China.
-
Mane, Sterling, Martial, Mount Vardy, Abraham, Jimenez Think a Spurs midfielder will come in soon but not sure how. Maybe for Mount?
-
I wonder if Ryan Sessegnon has any sort of future there.
-
Man Utd would be a step down, he's probably ending up at Real with Eriksen after a break.
-
Mental that it's happened so soon. Pochettino has overachieved there so I'm not sure Mourinho would do anything but cause misery.
-
He'll stay for his contract in China, surely.
-
I didn't buy it for Newcastle stuff, I don't even read that. So much of the other stuff is brilliant.
-
People really want to hate Mitrovic, not sure why. He's a good striker.
-
That could be fun.

That Adam Hurrey guy from Twitter recently made a Spotify playlist of all this, called 'Here We Goooo, Here We Go! Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, This Is It!'

Exaggerated things a bit but I just find Pep so frustrating
-
It's from David Ornstein in The Athletic. Used to be at the BBC.

I feel like Pep is obsessed with re-inventing the wheel rather than just driving the goddamn car. He's made some great tactical innovations and was revolutionary at Barcelona but he makes football more complicated than it needs to be. He gets more joy from inverting his full-backs than winning matches. Oh and buy some centre backs, man.

When you see how we've been under Rafa and Bruce, it make me wonder about how much managers really matter. Is their role overstated? As long as the dressing room is in harmony and there's 11 players out there.
