Colin is a fucking moron. MackemLogic, despite finding mackem gems of stupidity, is lets face it, pretty obsessed with the unwashed.

Think i got stuck with this 'cliffy' character on the way back from Bruges. Oh my days what a fucking lunatic. Spotted us in Brussels train station and literally wouldnt stop chatting shit to us all the way back to Holland, he kept telling us he'd been yarked by a group of lads in Brussels as his face was all fucked. Didnt even have a ticket for the train but managed to get to Amsterdam. Ran away from him in the end. Amazes me how these people actually manage to find their way to SJP never mind fucking Belgium.

No need to risk him in a fixture that might aswell be a formality. Save him for QPR

Interesting, not sure I agree. I think Rodgers genuinely went about learning how to play a brand of football he admired and believed in. I watch Liverpool, and they are playing far better stuff than they were under Dalglish. Suarez who many said wasn't a finisher last season, now looks even better, and is scoring more, from the better chances he is getting. Also, youngsters are coming into the team, and are being given the freedom to play, and are performing. He's hardly spent anything, and imo is moving the team to a better place than they were last year under Dalglish. If you look at the two managers Rodgers is the one that deserves more time, if anything, because the football is better, and he is clearly able to get his ideas across. Also, the talent in the academy is actually being utilised now, and is clearly being developed. What does Pardew have to show for himself? 5th place finish, in his first full season in charge? EDIT: Manager of the Year, too. Some people on here man.

Think if we did get rid of Pardew at some point I think given the set up of the club and MA's stratergy we'd benefit more from a head coach type, rather than a manager.

And replace him with? Anyone Try again. Replace him with who? Anybody So you want the manager sacked yet cant bring up any suitable successors? Exactly how we ended up with Souness. There isnt many managers that would leave their stable job to come here, with little money to spend, under this board. E.g Laudrup. Someone suggested Clough!? The Derby fans wanted him gone at the start of the season man Martinez the only viable suggestion so far, even then Wigan hardly play the most inspiring football year on year. All of these folk saying Pardew should go are the ones failing to list a viable replacement. It's not my decision to make, it's Ashley's. So blabbing about who you want is just a waste of breath imo. By that logic blabbing on about whether Pardew should stay or go is a waste of breath too... Cant be calling for him to be sacked and then when challenged for a replacement sit back and say its not your decision to make ffs. Course I can, I just did. Live with it. Then youre providing no solution to the current problem and your argument to get rid of Pardew is invalid. Think you play too much FM Aye, righto. Please explain how you throwing names out of the bag will have a direct influence on what Ashley thinks or decides? Where did I say it will? The fact is you (and others) are sat there calling for Pardew to be sacked yet cant think of a viable replacement. Can you not see whats a bit daft about that?

Free agent, decent manager who likes to play on the ground, whats not to like about him? Same Di Matteo that was sacked from West Brom? His only big success in management was the CL and the FA cup, which were won playing some of the most negative football ive ever seen. West Brom played the same type of football (sans their current level of success) even when he was sacked. You're going to begrudge him for doing what he did against Bayern Munich with the team he had? They were still struggling and looked like relegation candidate when he was sacked. Hodgsons appointment ended up looking like a masterstroke. Not begrudging him at all, just saying if youre going to appoint him on the basis his teams play good football, then you can disregard his time at Chelsea. Appointing Di Matteo would hardly be a leap forward anyway.
