Can't see us winning here at all. Score draw at best, we look really frail. -

I think our biggest issue is the midfield and I'm not sure what he can do about it. Miley is brilliant technically but he lacks the physicality - expected at 18. Longstaff is an absolute passenger of late. I know he scored twice yesterday but he's slow, weak in the tackle, seems to constantly fall over when pressured and doesn't offer a lot. He looks miles off that midfielder with a great range of passing we saw when he broke through. Bruno isn't the most physical either and it shows with these two either side. Essentially, we look weak in midfield off the ball. Teams are able to play through us and find pockets of space between the lines. I think Joelinton is the biggest miss out of them all this season unfortunately. I also think he protects Burn on the left too. He looks even more exposed with Miley ahead of him. -
His final ball will never be consistently good enough I'm afraid. Missed him because we've been desperate for options, not missed him because of his quality being honest.

Enjoying this pacey as fuck front three -
The fact they've brought in these rules AFTER City have already financially doped for years and heavily invested in their academy means it just solidifies everything. They can outspend everyone, but no club is ever going to generate as much as them. Klopp on his way. PL fast becoming a one team league.

Turner cant kick a ball, Hennessey is 37 and not very good anyway so theyre going to sign Matz Sels instead? Genuinely the worst keeper we've had in the last 20 year

Some of these fee's for loan players are mad. Chelsea wanting £5m for Broja on loan for the rest of the season (and no doubt his wages covered). He's come back from a serious injury and scored 2 goals in 19. He looked woeful against us both times. What planet are you on? 'Smaller' clubs would be so short sighted to pay some of these fee's. More money in the pocket of Chelsea too who are seemingly able to hoard players and loan them for fee's out as they please.

No top half PL team is doing us a favour. City supposedly demanding an obligation to buy for us for KP, while West Ham got an option. Arsenal loaned us Willock when we were shit, no chance they would now.
-
Would be nice to see a pointless loan signing of a striker that barely play, for old times sake. Doumbia, Ferrerya, Slimani, anyone of that ilk.
-
Don't think we'll sign anyone. Can't imagine we'll even take Ekitike. PSG will want him playing and given he's played 9 minutes this season, by the time he's up to speed Wilson will be back. Think Howe would prefer Gordon over him anyway even if we had him.

Absolute credit to him tonight. From the way we set up and started. For me though, it's that Livramento sub and a switch to a back 5. Totally nullified them when they were on top. Not sure I can remember him changing a back four to a five when we're ahead. Something I'm assuming we've worked on in training. Great stuff from Howe.
