Sterling is a good player and an extremely promising talent. Having said that, I think he's overrated, by himself and the media. The only people who don;'t think he's as good as is being made out are Liverpool fans themselves. They see the obvious, which is that he still needs to learn and improve the numerous gaps in his game. First goal came from two pivotal moments when we concede possession needlessly. Sissoko had picked up the ball and was about to make a run through midfield when Colback for no explicable reason just walked straight into him. Then the lovable ginger Geordie lad also shirked a tackle like the cowardly pussy he is moments later, and Austin was on his way. Gutierrez was awful defending Austin, but it wasn't just his fault. Honorable mention to Krul's hospital kick which kept the pressure on instead of relieving it.

Seeing him (and Taylor) visibly refuse to cross the halfway line against Swansea and WBA and provide support for the forwards was sickening. He was clearly following instructions from the lovable Geordie on the touchline no doubt. But it shows how little he understands football and his role in the team when he gladly obeys such moronic instructions from a clueless cunt.
