  1. I quite like the look of Kuban @ 15/8 today. Think Swansea's European momentum is slowing a bit. After a load of goals in qualifying for the competition and that brilliant win in the Mestalla, things have been decidedly less hot. A close 1-0 win against St Gallen at home and that draw last time out, for which Kuban were good value. Kuban need the win a lot more than Swansea, too. Not saying Kuban are a particularly good team as they clearly aren't, but 15/8 at home to a Michu-less Swansea who, a 4-0 win against Sunderland aside, have been a lot more wobbly of late than we're used to, is definite value. Maybe DNB. Aye, gone for Kuban DNB @ evens.
  2. This injury is knee joke: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24831486 Mind, I've probably played more football than him recently.
  3. What are people spunking money on tonight?
  4. GW11: Aston Villa 2-1 Cardiff Chelsea 2-0 West Brom Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton Liverpool 3-1 Fulham Southampton 1-0 Hull Norwich 0-1 West Ham Tottenham 2-1 Newcastle Sunderland 1-2 Man City Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal Swansea 2-1 Stoke
  5. It's normally like in England TBH, in many other sports. Not sure what happened at Spurs, bad decision all round. Regardless of how exactly Lloris was feeling, the issue for me is it perpetuates the mentality that it's alright to just play on. It's an extremely serious thing and should be treated as such, due to the harm it can cause.
  6. No, wait, Brown Panther has a bad cut. Your luck could be in Brett. On a more humane tone, awful seeing horses in trouble. Looks bad for Verema. Seeing them in the flesh in the parade ring makes you appreciate what awesome creatures they are.
  7. If only Stu and Brett combined their bets.
  8. Have a bad feeling Dandino will take it. The one I've mulled over and haven't gone for.
  9. I am reading it. And you're clearly saying Mata has little influence in winning games, which is painfully wrong.
  10. Anyone on the Melbourne Cup? Gone for Mount Athos and Sea Moon. Got MA at 16/1 a little while back, shame about the draw though.
  11. San Lorenzo 1-0. Fans are happy.
  12. Everyone knows you have to Boca Junior's appearance in advance.
  13. Good when you follow through on your instinct and it pays off. Been a few times recently I've not bet/changed my bet from what I was originally going to do and it fucked me over. I was flirting with over 2.5 goals for example here but stuck to my original BTTS. Good thing I did.
  14. Spurs' performances have been below-par when you see the quality players they have. That said, I don't blame ey vee bee for working from the defence forwards. Ultimately it's got them 20 points from 10 games so it's hard to criticise. I'm sure we'll see a more expansive Spurs as the season goes on. Spurs to win by a single goal. Not that there's any reason you shouldn't be going there with a realistic chance of getting something.
  15. Been the best player on the pitch by some distance.
  16. Had a feeling they'd score. 1-1.
  17. Up and down weekend, but mostly good. Chelsea's incompetence got it off a very bad start, but Mucho Macho Man's success in the Breeders Cup gave a very nice win. Verona's odds were obscenely long earlier which I took advantage of, however Bilbao's inability to score a goal cost me. BTTS in Torino-Roma. Just think there were signs vs Chievo that Roma's momentum is slowing a bit. Torino themselves have been involved in a few high-scoring games recently, so I think Roma's "against" column of 1 will be added to tonight. Also, Castan is out.
  18. So, after stating I was looking forward to a goalfest on Thursday with Roma (drab 1-0) and then claiming Everton-Spurs would be great for the neutral, I think it's only right that I say it is with some trepidation that I am looking forward to goals galore in this game. 2-2, 3-3, it could be any score. Any number, pick some numbers and that is what the score could be. Dead cert.

    Sunderland

Good to see Luis Good Death so high up. He did enjoy a celebratory red card.
  20. I see. How much did you have on it, smarty pants? Fiver. Although did put a tenner on Spurs in-play as it looked like a matter of time.
