Reckon we will get 20k -
Thought Vazquez was younger for some reason BUT that would be a class signing if we could pull it off. Always impressed whenever I have seen him for Real.
-
No idea what he's actually like as a player BUT would like to see this happen as paying that much money for a 28 year old will show Rafa is very much in charge and we are thinking beyond resale value. Though it would mean McCarthy won't be signing, which is a shame as I really rate him.
-
According to SSN Arsenal have a rejected a £10mill bid from West Brom for Gibbs
-
Not everyone ridiculed the signing, plenty of people saw it for what it was, a squad player with proven Championship experience for little money. He served his purpose and was extremely professional about it. Wish him well.

Good move if Bolton are no longer hoofball merchants.

Nail your colours to the mast - where will we finish?

As things stand we will be relegated because Rafa will walk and rightly so if there isn't significant transfers made. A happy Rafa indicates we will get transfers so comfortable mid-table. -
The way we are pissing about in the transfer window and not doing much of note I would take Ben Arfa back in a heartbeat, he would walk into our team and instantly make it better. He would probably be the difference in us winning enough points to stay up, unless of course Charnley stops being a moron and actually signs some decent players.
-
Getting Reina makes a lot of sense, the fee is not likely to be too high, better than what we have, experienced, Rafa knows him and should not block Woodman trying to become number 1 in a few seasons.
-
Canny goal that from Germany
-
They are in a bit of a state, preparation has been terrible so far BUT I really can't see them being relegated. As much as we take the mick they are a big club in The Championship and when they finally get moving they will be able to sign/loan decent enough players that will ensure they are not flirting with relegation.
-
Not a fan of this as if I'm reading it right you will have some games lasting longer than others. I like how when a game kicks off now you pretty much know when it is going to be half time and when it's going to finish, with this proposal it's uncertain
-
If they are the same age then I would agree. It does make a difference to a players value. Sissoko is older by a month
-
No way is siggurdson worth £40m. You must be out of your mind to even suggest that. He's a good player but that's it. I would value him at £10m to £12m tops. He's comfortably more than a £10-12mill player
-
The story suggests Chelsea are offering him a new/extended contract worth £50k per week, yet on top he/his agent wants a sign on fee

Nowt to do with Sky, this is what the Premier League are interested in There is no guarantee Sky will get the rights for 2019 onwards
